Gone fishing!!!!

.Good afternoon guys, its been as per usual quite busy here at the house of tomlinson lol what with swim classes and combat classes lol,

I have made this card for a friend to give to her fella from thier kiddies, he loves fishing so i thought this lotv stamped image was perfect!!!

i coloured it in with my promarkers and added some stickles onto the water to add some depth and shine,

also i put on blue grossgrain ribbon but didnt want a bow so i ruffled it up and stick it on like this,

here is a close up to try and show you the water and my dodgy colouring lol, i can do some decent colouring sometimes but this one just didnt quite turn out how i wanted lol,

The papers are the old dovecraft masculine paper pack, i use these all the time as i love the look of the cards using these papers.

creative card crew no 31 - its a celebration

Over at CCC the challenge for this week is called it a celebration, so as i had a card i needed to make for an order, i thought it was a perfect opportunity to enter this challenge, As you can see i chose to do a congrats on the birth of your baby card, its quite simple but im fairly pleased with how it looks,

Here is my take on this weeks challenge over at my time to craft which is called purrfect pets,

this is a very simple notepad with the dovecraft glamour paper pack backing papers on, plus anitas stichy ribbon and thats about it, the BIA rings are red as i had not got pink ones grrrr i think i need to get some,

charisma challenge # 39 is decoupage

Well as is the theme for me at the moment ive created another christmas card lol, the challenge over at charisma this week is decoupage so i cut up this lovely image and got my squares out, and was quite pleased with the end result, its much more colourful and sparkly in real life than in the picture.

papertake weekly-faking it

The challenge over at PTW is called faking it this week which means fake stitching/flowers/ribbons etc, i did some good old fake stitching like i tend to do on alot of my cards as i think its very effective,

I made this card at one of our craft group sessions where we were all given a goody bag from the lovely elke with the exact same stash in it and we all had to come up with something, mine was slightly different originally than this as when i got home i added a few bits to it,

This card was ordered by a friend for a friend lol so i hope they both like it?

charisma cardz - flower power 37

This card is for the charisma challenge this week called flower power, i made this with my whiff of joy image that a friend stamped for me, i really must buy some they are gorgeous, this layout is quite a simple one but i was havin brain fog that day lol, i inked around the edges with light brown ink to decorate.

This week over at c.r.a.f.t the challenge is to make anything but a card, i decided upon having another play with my BIA and made this birthday book, its a5 size so is my biggest book yet.

Cute card thursday-new beginnings

Over at CCT challenge 75 is called new beginnings wether it be new baby,new job etc i chose to do a new home card as my little sister has not long moved into her first little flat, its quite a simple design made mainly with backing papers and my trusty sakura pens.

This card was made by using;

• backing papers are out of my scraps box so cant remember which they are sorry (i was in a recycling mood)

Tonight was my weekly night for going to my local craft group and as the centre have shut up for refurbishment,i managed to get hubby to let me dissappear for a bit in my craft area, as i was limited to tim i only made 1 card but went of 2 challenges, so here goes,

I inked up the edges in green to give a better finish and added the diamond stickles to the wings so they glittered.

i added the stickles to parts of the backing paper to add some sparkle, and doubled up the star on the front,
