Dutch Dare dt card

Good morning everyone, we have a new challenge over at Dutch dare starting today and we are looking for ....BIRTHDAYS so thats a really easy one for you......

 here is my card using a stamping boutique image i had in my TSB images album, she is one of my faves, and seemed perfect with the dcwv rockstar matt stack i have in my stash, i thought it warranted a bit of metal so ive stapled round all the edges with pink/purple colored staples !!! i really like the rugged effect it gives.

i used my promarkers for this lady, i know the coloring isnt upto scratch but ive ran out of my good printing paper and had to make do with semi quality stuff, i will get some more at the weekend.

i will enter her into the following challenge

1. Stamp scrap and doodle-ribbons and bows

friday sketchers 69 card

Here is my take on this weeks sketch over at friday sketchers, this was a fun card to make,

To make this card i used;

• personal impressions image and sentiment
• silk flowers were won in a candy so not sure who there from sorry
• blue gems from ebay
• cuttlebug embossing folder
• oval scallop nesties
• promarkers to colour
• dovecraft brads
• silver effect charm from sparkly bits online shop

this card was ordered from a friend so i hope she likes it?it is for her mum so later i will just add on the mum bit when i find out how she wants it putting.

another dufex christmas card

Here is another christmas card i made with my dufex stickers, i matted it up on the lovely metallics dcwv matt stack, i know dufex isnt to everyones taste but i think for christmas its especially suitable? what do you think? this card isnt for any challenge i just made it at my local crafting group that i go to each tuesday evening creative craft group everyone is welcome its £4 for 2 hours with cuppa and nibblies included (not bad hey)

• dufex stickers from local craft shop
• dovecraft ribbon punch
• ribbon free from papercraft inspirations magazine sometime ago

PTW meets daring cardmakers

Tonight was my weekly night for going to my local craft group and as the centre have shut up for refurbishment,i managed to get hubby to let me dissappear for a bit in my craft area, as i was limited to tim i only made 1 card but went of 2 challenges, so here goes,

as i usually make birthday cards i fancied trying something else,

• doodlebug weddings stamp set for greeting and image
• stamping up flower an pearl (i think)
• lace from trimcraft
• white souffle pen and
• silver stardust pen for doodling
• small pearl gems from ebay

I actually think the end product is quite nice? what do you think?

my stamp something card

This week over on stamp something the challenge is called birthday somethings, which is a nice easy one i think, i enjoyed making this card as any opportunity to get colouring in and using my bug is appreciated lol,

To make this card i used:

• ollifants autumn stamp set
• promarkers to colour in
• cuttlebug embossing folder (sorry cant remember which one it is)
• nesties (circle scallop)
• jelly tots from craftwork cards
• black peel off

Ive not been able to craft much recently as my boys have been particularly hard work as kiddies are of course, im having withdrawals lol.

I missed the first challenge on i love promarkers as my laptop broke on me before i could upload my finished card, so i made sure i could enter this one lol, challenge 2 is a sketch,

secret crafter challenge card

This weeks over at secret crafters saturday challenge is called fancy corners, my card is quite plain but i think there's enough on there to look nice? for my "fancy corners" i just made the corners out of brown card and used my deckle edged scissors to shape them nicely,

• my new stamps are from rubbernecker stamps and are called coffeetime set
• brown and cream card

this card was really easy to make and took around 15-20 minutes to make.
