Papertake weekly, black and white plus one

Here is a notebook that i made today and it fits well within this weeks black and white plus one other colour challenge over at papertake weekly,

To make this book i used;

• charcoal paper pack from dovecraft
• woodware daisy punches to make the flower
• pink glitter card
• black 1/2 in wires
• pink and black gems

As im quite new to notebooks this probably seems a little plain, but i think its not too bad?? i bought one of those memo block for the papers inside as they come in the handy size i like to use, you just have to make sure its good quality paper inside and not the really cheap looking stuff lol, mine was actually from wilkos and only cost £2 and will make dozens of books :-)

C.R.A.F.T meets OCC and CCC

This card actually covers 3 challenges which i think is pretty good going lol.

They are;

1. Our creative corner-Monochromatic mania
2. C.R.A.F.T- No backing papers
3. Creative card crew-decorate the inside of your card

this card was made for an order i recieved and actually almost forgot to do it by the deadline which is tomorrow (phew)

To make this card i used the following;

• sizzix baby die cuts
• scallop circle nesties
• woodware buttons
• flowers from local craft shop
• skoosky sizzix alphabet for name
• ribbon from pda
• gems of ebay
• card blank made from a4 sheet of card

I just hope this will be ok as the person who ordered it just wanted me to come up with something to make it and had no input at all.

a card for 2 challenges

I have made this card for 2 blog challenges and for the challenge at my local craft club, and for a change i really like this one lol, the image was sent to me in a swap and i really like it,

The 2 challenges are;

1. Truly scrumptious-a sketch with beads
2. Creative card crew-polkadots

I made this card using:

• backing papers from stamping up and papermania collossal warm tones range
• image from a swap
• colouring with promarkers
• swiss dots cuttlebug folder
• flowers punched out of backing papers with my 2 daisy punches
• pink gems from pda
• card blank from tesco
• sentiment is from personal impressions stamp set
• pink sakura pen to doodle

stamp something meets pbsc

I used 2 challenges to make this card, i dont usually work with these colours together lol so not too sure i like the finished product but thought id put it on anyway....someone may like it lol

The challenges were;

1. PBSC - swirls
2. Stamp something - a colour combo......pink, green and yellow

To make this card i used the following;

• Penny black image
• coloured with ppromarkers
• cuttlebug embossing folders bloom dots and spots and dots
• pink velour ribbon from papermania
• sizzix swirls die cut with
• pink stickles
• pink gems bought from pound shop
• tag punched out with woodware punch

creative inspirations entry card

Here is my entry for this weeks creative inspirations challenge which is a sketch but for a male card, as i dont often work with greens i thought i would give it a go with this one,

To make this card i used;

• stamping up backing papers
• circle punched out with woodware punch
• image is from pink gem designs
• coloured with promarkers
• matted and layered with thick green card
• green gems from PDA
• diecut given to me by a friend

this was a card i made at our new crafting group it took me about an hour but the image was already coloured, what do you think?

cupcake sketch

Ive been on a bit of a roll the last couple of days, as i can only really make cards when my son is at pre-school ive been really knuckling down as ive a few birthdays coming up and want to try get ahead

fathers day card no'1

I have been so disorganised making my 3 fathers day cards this year, im not too fond of this one really but its too late to make another now lol and besides men dont seem too fussy when it comes to cards lol,

When i chose to do this one i used 2 challenges to combine;

2. C.R.A.F.T - challenge 6 a sketch

To make this card i used;

• papermania mens range BP's
• sizzix die cut alphabet for the DAD
• circle punched out with woodware punch
• gems from ebay
• stars are peel-offs stuck on the same BP's and cut around
• ribbon from craft central
• whita sakura pen for doodling around edges
• greeting free hand and layered on holographic card

a friends birthday card

well this is not my best piece of work but its nice, i made this yesterday for a friend of mine she is only in her early 20s so i thought that it was appropriate? it is her birthday on Wednesday so was in a bit of a rush to get something made for her, i also made my other friend Jilly's card but will upload that after her birthday as she is a avid blogger( http://jillyscreations.blogspot.com/ )so i don't want her to see it till her birthday lol, the card was made using dovecraft glamour papers and one of my handbag templates, also I'm loving my daisy punches too so had to make my own flower as well,hope she will like it?
