red,white and blue plus 1 star

This card is quite a simple take on the stamptacular challenge n0 12, which as the title says red white and blue plus 1 star,

To make this card i used;

• hand stamped backing paper made from see ds background and borders set in red ink
• all ribbons from craft central
• blue peel off free from magazine
• star sticker from woolworths (what was lol)
• red/blue holographis card for layering star
• sakura pen for doodling round the edges
  

CPS challenge card

Here is my entry for this weeks CPS121 sketch,

I made this card using;

• dovecraft masculine backing papers
• nestibilities scallop circles
• blue holographic card
• blue sakura stardust pen
• diamond stickles
• text is from see ds

i added the stickles to parts of the backing paper to add some sparkle, and doubled up the star on the front,

fathers day card no'2

This card i actually quite like considering i was rushed when making it, looking back i would have done couple things different to make it better but its still alright,

• Image is loving edwin coloured in with my promarkers and white pen

• sentiment recieved in a swap matted an layered on to same bp's and holographic card

fathers day card no'1

I have been so disorganised making my 3 fathers day cards this year, im not too fond of this one really but its too late to make another now lol and besides men dont seem too fussy when it comes to cards lol,

When i chose to do this one i used 2 challenges to combine;

To make this card i used;

• papermania mens range BP's
• sizzix die cut alphabet for the DAD
• circle punched out with woodware punch
• gems from ebay
• stars are peel-offs stuck on the same BP's and cut around
• ribbon from craft central
• whita sakura pen for doodling around edges
• greeting free hand and layered on holographic card

passion for promarkers 1st challenge

This card was made for a friend who asked me to make a card for her little nephew, as i really wanted to enter the first challenge on passion for promarkers i thought id colour in this little man, As this challenge has an amazing prize i couldnt miss it lol.

The colours i used on my image were ;

• Cyan and royal blue for the dungarees
• poppy an royal blue on the cap
• cocoa on his hair and the hammer handle
• gold for the hammer head an screwdriver
• pastel blue for the t shirt
• cool grey 2 for the shoes
• black for shoe laces
• ivory and blush for the skin

• cuttlebug happy birthday embossing folder
• holographic card
• die cut greeting (not sure of brand)
• glitter rub-ons from stash
• text was hand written with white sakura pen

a little something for a challenge

This is a wedding invite/card, it has a wallet inside for the invite to go, i was asked to make it for an indian wedding, the mother of the bride gave me the actual red wallet, she wanted me to decorate it appropriately and put names an dates on etc, i made the beaded flowers and the tassell and put gems on the card, i used cute card thursday challenge #56 for this card, which was called floral fantasy,

abc challenge.....

........A for anniversary, as it is soon to be my 4th anniversary in march i thought it would be perfect to use the challenge from abc challenge for my inspiration,

the image is from third coast stamps i think, its called madamoiselle sophie. i made the blank myself with red card, and punched out some black and red hearts, my hubby likes things nice and simple so i left it like this, what do you think???

a card for 2 challenges

I made this card for 2 different challenges in mind,the sketch is from sketch saturday no 37 and also decided to have a go at the my time to craft challenge which was called going for gold.

cowboy card for my friends little boy

I made this card for my friends little boy who will be 3 this week, i used my cowboy stamp from the alota stamping range and matted it up with some blue card, put some ribbon on it, i made my own 3 and coloured it in, and used my shiney card to put his name on, as i love to doodle i used white on the coloured parts and blue on the white card, hope it worked???

sketch saturday 33 challenge card

Theres just no stopping me at the moment, i have so much card making energy but not alot else lol, for this challenge i chose to use the sketch from

penny black saturday challenge

this is my first challenge in a while due to all the decorating an christmas, i chose to start by doing a penny black challenge as im a big fan of penny black stamps lol,
To make this card i embossed some holograpic card with the hearts pattern, and used some red ribbon i got from a kit i bought from costco, the image was coloured in with my watercolour pens and stickles used on the rose, the text is rub-ons i got from a pound shop, i made my own card blank from some pearlescent card i have in my stock, i was really pleased with it when i had finished, take a look at the other entries on http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/
