Feeling Blue

Not literally lol!!!

but my offering for today is very blue lol,

I thought that id make something with a colour i havent used alot of lately, mind you i havent crafted properley for ages and here i am going like a trouper lol,

i made another card in blue today too but thats a girly one and i will share with you later if i get time,

 

Anyway here is todays card for you, i hope you like it? im going ot make more time to craft so i would love it if you stayed a follower, it would also be lovely to get more followers too (wink wink)

I made this card using a fab lotv stamp which i then coloured in with my promarkers, i bought the star buttons the other week but forgotten where from lol,

I really need to remember the location as i think i need more of them lol, here is a close up of them,

I made a card!!!!!!! is anyone still there lol

Hi guys!!!!

long time no post lol, i have had very little craft time since september when i started the business up with my husband, well its doing very well and im always busy lol,

i hope there are still peeps around to look at my blog, i have lost a couple followers understandably with my lack of posting :-s

 

I had a hour an half of free time this morning So i thought what the heck id have a go at some challenges as its been o LONG time simce i last entered any lol.

So here is my creation!!! im fairly pleased with it, its simple in design but with lotv images and toppers they dont have to be busy cards as images are soo wonderful,

The papers are brand new from glitterpot there the papermania capsule collection i got them on saturday and dont have much green papers so thought id have a play,

the topper is of course LOTV but ya knew that didnt ya lol?

There are quite a few layers here as i love the look when finished, and i like a weighty card lol

 

So anyway onto the challenges ive entered this card into

Welcome to the world

Good morning, i was supposed to be going to the gym today, but my back is still really playing me up!!! my next physio appointment is next week so im hoping to get on with it till then, but im supposed to be getting in a few gentle sessions before i go back, but it just hurts to much :-(

so with that in mind i have made a card to share with you, it was a commision form school, they wanted it in lilacs and purples for a little girl,

The image is the fabulous LOTV whom i am a avid fan of, i have dozens of thier stamps, and the tag stamp is from stamping up, the papers are dcwv matt stack,

 I punched a mini hole in the actual card stock popped a jump ring in and put the charm thier just for a change,

and i also put the gorgeous PMS stamped sentiment inside, sorry the pics a bit naff, it says

"A child enters

your life

and fills a place

in your heart

you never knew

was empty"

isnt that beautiful, and usefull for so many diff occasions,

This post is really late im afraid i had it in my head it wasnt due till next week so hadnt even scheduled or drafted it lol,

Anyway We have a new challenge out today at Cards For Men And its a simple one if ever there was one lol, we are all about......HAPPY BIRTHDAYS so as long as its masculine and its for a birthday then your in lol,

here is my card for you, its all monochromatic lol as wanted to keep it in line with the little karate kids ghee lol, i used the charcoal dovecrafts paper pack which ive had forever (about 4yrs)

 And Also got the chance to use my stamping up pennants punch, then all i added was some 1.5 cm satin ribbon,sakura pen for faux stitching, my promarkers and a craft work cards sentiment and thats pretty much it,

I know it may not be everyones cup of tea but im quite pleased with it, maybe i could have added a bit of colour but never mind now lol,

Gone fishing!!!!

.Good afternoon guys, its been as per usual quite busy here at the house of tomlinson lol what with swim classes and combat classes lol,

I have made this card for a friend to give to her fella from thier kiddies, he loves fishing so i thought this lotv stamped image was perfect!!!

i coloured it in with my promarkers and added some stickles onto the water to add some depth and shine,

also i put on blue grossgrain ribbon but didnt want a bow so i ruffled it up and stick it on like this,

here is a close up to try and show you the water and my dodgy colouring lol, i can do some decent colouring sometimes but this one just didnt quite turn out how i wanted lol,

The papers are the old dovecraft masculine paper pack, i use these all the time as i love the look of the cards using these papers.

A bit of a change

Good morning to anyone who may be reading this lol, I thought id sneak a quick post in before my day turns hectic lol, the kids are playing with thier lego and daddy is having his lie inn, but will be up very soon,

ive got to fetch one of my best friends from the airport later as she has been lucky enough to get away from this rubbish weather lol, then off out tonight for a big note out, there is lots of us going including the men for a change,

Anyway here is the card i completed yesterday for a friend wha asked me to make an easel card for her friend who was turning 50, she wanted something bright and modern and this is what i made!!!!

what do you think??

i used 2 different paper packs that i recieved free from kate knight, and a fabulous lotv square, then got my lace border punch out and used the blue paper id used for the matting to add a diff colour to the papers,

then popped gem brads in the prima flowers for a bit of bling!!

Also if you pop here regularly you may know im crazy and i mean crazy for stardust stickles!!! yep thats on the flowers in the paper,

then a flower brad to hold the easel up and voila lol

Ive tried to show the glittered pape here but it shines so much more than this

I do hope you like it???? i wasnt sure if it was ok for a 50th but ive been reassured that it is just fine lol,

going for a drive

hi guys, ive been really busy making lots of male themed cards, and have had lots of orders of late, so have lots of cards to share with you,

here is one made with a lotv topper, i love these as they are perfect when you are short on time but look amazing,

this card is fairly simple and consists of stamping up backing papers and ribbon, clear gems and computer generated sentiment, i used red card stock and green embossed card and thats it!!!! how much easier could you get lol,

Ive been a busy busy bee

Hi folks

Just got in from fetching alex from school, and was going to pull some weeds up and guess what ???? its started chucking it down!!!!! so instead i thought i would share a couple of cards with you.

Card 1

I made this first one for my sisiter to give to her friend, apparently he is a keen boxing fan, i didnt have anything suitable in my stash so had to google free images, i used my kanban backing card stock and ruffled up some silver ribbon and thats pretty much it really, its a 7x5 inch card blank.

 Here is a closer pic of card to show you all the stickles i put on the gloves, its mounted on silver holographic card and pearl dark blue.

I made this for a friend to give to her daughter, she asked me if i could do pink/glitter/butterfly/flowers/name/age on a card so i thought about it for a bit and came up with this....i know she likes animals and has pets so this lotv image seemed the perfect choice and age appropriate also,

I used the baby dcwv glittered matt stack, all other stuff form my stash, you cant see the glitter to well on this pic the one below is slightly better

Here is a better pic of the glitter and the image, i also popped some glossy accents on the noses of the animal,

a lovely bike ride

Not for me lol...but this little fella looks to be having lots of fun with his pal,

I made this quick and simple card using a lotv topper as these are ready to go in a hurry, the papers ive had for a long time they are dovecraft basics, and apart from a bit of card candy and red card stock thats about it lol, cant get more quick than that, 

 I popped some stickles on the frame of the bike and the mud to make it stand out a bit more than it does, and white faux stitching with my sakura pen,

Im entering this cutie into a few challenges as follows

The make up of this was rather simple, i used moss green coloured satin ribbon and red card stock, along with papers from papermania for him and that is pretty much it, its a 6x6 inch card blank
