I used 2 challenges to make this card, i dont usually work with these colours together lol so not too sure i like the finished product but thought id put it on anyway....someone may like it lol

The challenges were;

1. PBSC - swirls
2. Stamp something - a colour combo......pink, green and yellow

To make this card i used the following;

• Penny black image
• coloured with ppromarkers
• cuttlebug embossing folders bloom dots and spots and dots
• pink velour ribbon from papermania
• sizzix swirls die cut with
• pink stickles
• pink gems bought from pound shop
• tag punched out with woodware punch

I have quite a few male birthdays coming up so i decided to make a male card for the challenges,

decoupage card for 3 challenges

Sorry this photo hasnt come out at all well, i made this card for a older friend of mine who specifically asked for decoupage, so i trawled through my many blog challenges and came across 3 that i could combine, they are:

1. Saturday challenge #39 is 3 ribbons
2. C.R.A.F.T challenge #7 is decoupage
3. Creative card crew #18 is ribbons

To make this card i used my

• wild asparagus backing papers
• flower decoupage from a cd i have
• wine coloured organza ribbon from the range
• wine coloured pearl gems bought from ebay
• happy birthday from see ds stamp set
• gold shiny card for matting an layering (is from a indian friend of mine who bought it from a specialist shop as it has oils in it for her daughters wedding,its gorgeous)

this card was really easy to make and the decoupage is made with silicone instead of 3d pads so i could give it some shape and i didnt want it too thick,

creative inspirations entry card

Here is my entry for this weeks creative inspirations challenge which is a sketch but for a male card, as i dont often work with greens i thought i would give it a go with this one,

To make this card i used;

• stamping up backing papers
• circle punched out with woodware punch
• image is from pink gem designs
• coloured with promarkers
• matted and layered with thick green card
• green gems from PDA
• diecut given to me by a friend

this was a card i made at our new crafting group it took me about an hour but the image was already coloured, what do you think?

heres my little men

I cant believe kyle is just over 3 months now, isnt he just gorgeous. he is teething too so its lovely an noisy in my house, an alex at the top is 4 next jan, im soo proud of my kids and think they are absolutely beautiful so i thought id share these pics with you.

charisma card

This weeks over on charisma cardz challenge blog there is no theme at all so i was left thinkin what to do lol, i decided to keep it simple and made this card, as its a friend of mines birthday coming up and she is in her late 50s i thought this would be fitting? what do you think?

This is my entry for this weeks just magnolia challenge week 11 which is a sketch by bev, ive also put the sketch on so you can see, i actually enjoyed making this card as i had my new backing papers to play with.

Ive been on a bit of a roll the last couple of days, as i can only really make cards when my son is at pre-school ive been really knuckling down as ive a few birthdays coming up and want to try get ahead

This card is quite a simple take on the stamptacular challenge n0 12, which as the title says red white and blue plus 1 star,

To make this card i used;

• hand stamped backing paper made from see ds background and borders set in red ink
• all ribbons from craft central
• blue peel off free from magazine
• star sticker from woolworths (what was lol)
• red/blue holographis card for layering star
• sakura pen for doodling round the edges

This card has been made from dawny's sketch #17 over on papertake weekly,to make this card i used;

• image is magnolias fashionable tilda
• coloured with promarkers
• backing papers are stamping up
• eyelet from dovecraft gems from stash
• sakura pens
• stickles in diamond
• peel off greeting

I inked up the edges in green to give a better finish and added the diamond stickles to the wings so they glittered.

The new stash i used on this card was the image which i got from a friend in a swap, the challenges are;

I made this card using;

i added the stickles to parts of the backing paper to add some sparkle, and doubled up the star on the front,

This card i actually quite like considering i was rushed when making it, looking back i would have done couple things different to make it better but its still alright,

I have been so disorganised making my 3 fathers day cards this year, im not too fond of this one really but its too late to make another now lol and besides men dont seem too fussy when it comes to cards lol,

wanting to do a blog candy

Im been waiting to do a blog candy of my own when i reach 5000 hits but wondering what to put in it, all the other blog candies are soo extravagant that its hard to put a good one together, what do you think? cant go crazy but would love to treat my loyal followers somehow.

wow some new stuff

I just cant believe my luck lol, my hubby has let me buy loads of magnolias etc and some memento ink/embossing pads for my nestibilities, plus some more promarkers to add to my collection im absolutely overwhelmed ive spent about £100 which is so surprising as he doesnt usually let me lol, i wonder whats going on lol, cant wait to get them, should be sometime early this week.

pink gem candy

Janet over at pink gem is giving away another blog candy in the form of a £25 e voucher to spend at her online store pink gem designs, ths candy is going to be drawn on the 30th june.
I am a big fan of pink gem design stamps myself an do have 5 or 6 of them in my collection, theres a massive range of girls and boys stamps along with animalsand sentiments all at a reasonable price, p&p is more than reasonable too,

This is my entry for the challenge over on stamptacular sunday, i made this for my dads birthday just gone, the dad is a die cut from the sizzix azure range i got them from a friend, and i know just have to have a set,
