stamp something meets pbsc

I used 2 challenges to make this card, i dont usually work with these colours together lol so not too sure i like the finished product but thought id put it on anyway....someone may like it lol

The challenges were;

1. PBSC - swirls
2. Stamp something - a colour combo......pink, green and yellow

To make this card i used the following;

• Penny black image
• coloured with ppromarkers
• cuttlebug embossing folders bloom dots and spots and dots
• pink velour ribbon from papermania
• sizzix swirls die cut with
• pink stickles
• pink gems bought from pound shop
• tag punched out with woodware punch

I thought to myself......how many challenges can i combine in one? so i had a look at all my challenge blogs and decided upon these:

1. penny black saturday challenge which is called birthday celebrations as they are celebrating their first year of the challenge blog.
2. Friday sketches 56 provided the sketch
3. Abc...... R is for roses

To make this card i used;

• penny black image coloured with promarkers
• stamping up backing papers
• ribbon free from papercraft inspirations magazine
• cuttle bug embissing folder cant remember name?
• nestie circle scallops
• flowers made using woodware punch
• die cut greeting
• gems from personal stash
• white sakura pen for doodling
• blue card for matting an layering from papermill

3 in 1 card

I recieved my new stamps from pink gem designs and was desperate to have a play with them, so i decided to do a challenge with one of them, in the end i found i had been able to incorporate 3 challenges in this card.

Spoonfull of sugar #43 was called little gem, (yep used a few)

My time to craft #53 was called nature, (i think this covers that too)

Cupcake craft challenge #31 was called brown +1 either pink,blue or green as you can see i went with blue for a change, i even surprised myself as i usually go pink all the way,

To make this card i used Spring Milly from pink gem, Stamping up BP's, a PB sentiment and some blue ribbon and gems from my stash, as per i went down the road of watercolour pencils and bit of sakura souffle to colour in, the gorgeous blue card is from local cheap store and its called pearly embossed and i love it,they only do pink or blue though.

this is a wallet card that was made for a swap, and i think it fits this weeks challenge over on ooh la la creations perfectly as the theme is stripes, the image is a penny black and was coloured in with my brush markers, the image is matted up with holographic card and the backing papers i think are from inspirations by papermania??

I decided to give Edwin a bit of fresh air today and made a card with him, isnt he soo cute? i coloured him in using my brush markers and sakura pens inked up the edges with bronze ink, mounted him on some pearly finish browny/bronze card and some purple card,then i found some lovely brown spotty ribbon so thought that might look nice, i stamped up one of my penny black greetings and layered that the same as the image, the border at the botttom is from the kanban mens range of sticky borders.

I thought id try get my creative juices going again as like so many others i seem to have the dreaded cold, firstly i went with the challenge from http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/2009/01/week-34-circle-card.html which was to have a go with a circle card, i initially thought this was easy but making it look good was very hard indeed, im still not pleased with finished product,

and also this card was made with another challenge in mind from http://stampchallenges.blogspot.com/2009/01/summer-in-winter-somethings-challenge.html

here they were asking for something with a summery theme/colours,

To make this card i just used my compass to make the circle (its been years since ive used one as well lol) the papers are from the retro floral dovecraft range, image and greeting are from pennyblack, i put paper flowers all the way round and small gems in the middle for the summery feel, and job done.

As i have been struggling for time but really wanted to get stuck in to some challenges i thought id make 1 card but for 3 different challenge blogs.

the card was made using the the simply elegant papermania paper pack, penny black image coloured in with water markers, some gold peeloffs, black organza ribbon, and dovecraft embellishment,

Lets get dotty from http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ which you just had to use dots in your design and as you can see i used dotty paper and embossed some dots with one of my cuttlebug border folders,

And X is for....from http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ m/ which was just asking for you to use an x somewhere in your design, which i did in my border around edge of card,
The card and paper in this design is all pearlescent and shines really nice but as usual i couldnt get a decent shot despite trying loads of times.

my entry for abc challenge

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge over on http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ its W for wallet,

this was my take on it, i got this idea out of one of my papercrafts books,

To make this i used my simply elegant backing paper from papermania, penny black stamps, and for extra effect popped some gold coloured beads onto some wire attached to a lovely prima flower,

there are 6 pockets to card this with gold gems stuck to each and decorated with some laura ashley papers as they seemed to match up well, to finish off used some old scraps of gold ribbon as a tie, and put some gold peel offs on and some gold stickles.

penny black saturday challenge

this is my first challenge in a while due to all the decorating an christmas, i chose to start by doing a penny black challenge as im a big fan of penny black stamps lol,
To make this card i embossed some holograpic card with the hearts pattern, and used some red ribbon i got from a kit i bought from costco, the image was coloured in with my watercolour pens and stickles used on the rose, the text is rub-ons i got from a pound shop, i made my own card blank from some pearlescent card i have in my stock, i was really pleased with it when i had finished, take a look at the other entries on http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/

Here is my random design card for this weeks challenge, i used a penny black stamp for this as i love them, and all other stamps to think of it lol, and some organza ribbon to jazz it up, the paper was out of a special paper pack i bought from the works,

here is my very first ever atc, its my attempt for the

monday morning crafting (5)

well today we thought we would have a go at making a wallet card as Ive never made one of those before, Jilly showed me how to make one and i was surprised at how simple they were, also as a bonus we decided to do one of the sketch challenges, we had a look around blog land and decided upon this one on http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ it is a fairly simple sketch to do as my inspiration has been lacking of late i didn't want anything to intricate lol. I'm actually quite pleased at how it turned out for a change lol, Jilly also went off the same sketch, to see hers just visit her blog http://jillyscreations.blogspot.com/ considering this morning was a bit of a mare with our two young boys misbehaving we actually produced some decent work lol. have a look and let me know what you think?
