DDCC #119 - A sketch for you

Kelly has been havin blogger problems today and yesterday so our challenge over at DDCC has gone out a bit late guys !!!!!blogger is being such a pain at the mo and im thinking there is just too much traffic for it to cope with ??

You may wish to look away !!!!!!!! the mess that you are going to see you may never be able to forget lol, now im not lucky enought to have a craft room but i do possess a corner of our bedroom much to hubby's dismay,I thought id share this wityh you on WOYWW 108 there are lots of boxes/drawers etc but still i cant stay tidy lol

Here is the carnage of my latest crafting moments !!! I tend to leave drawers open so i can find my stuff easier lol, believe it or not im actually quite organised !!!!
Here is my work desk, ive been colouring in a fab some odd girl digi and popped my fave essential on there "glossy accents" ready to use on an ordered card,
if you can see it just in the corner there is an old spice rack which houses all my buttons in colour coordinated bottles

As you can see everything is all over the place at the mo, i have had few new bits an pieces of late and im still awaiting some new stamps and storage etc to be delivered form 3 or 4 different places lol, dont worry ive been ebaying to make some pennies to spend,
know i now my space isnt very inspiring but i thought id share as i havent done do for quite a while !!!

I got a massive deal on ebay a while ago, which consited of about 32 of these fabulous stamps and sentiments, for a mere £15, all the charachters and text as well !!!!!!

I love humourous cards dont you ???

I used glitter card on this which ive had for what seems an age and not used any of it for about 12 months !!!!!! I also ised my retro paper stack from papermania another thing ive not used much for a while,

i was in the mood to use up some old stuff aith my new stamps

Here is the card i made for my mum to give my sister, my mum has a big thing for easel cards, pretty much all the ones she asks for are easel lol,

For something a little different spin i chose to make the 21 out of buttons, so i gathered all my various sizes and shade blue buttons,

Frontal viewI added some prima flowers and some stickles along with swiss dots satin ribbon and that pretty much makes it,

And a proper view from the front, i tried to corrugate some red card and give it a chinese menu look lol, not sure that succeeded, but hey ho.

My first challenge as DT over at dutch dare card challenges how excited am i

A few weeks ago you may remember me announcing that i was lucky enought to be chosen to join dutch dare!!!

well over there we work in weekly teams, so this is my first piece of dt work for them, and the theme is

CAS cards (clean and simple

we are being sponsored by fellow dt member pattie of patties creations and i have used one of her digi images for my card,

the recipe was of course very minimal, i used back to basics papers, a patties digi, some purple gems a little organza and job done,

pretty in pink

It was my sisters 21st birthday the other day and i worked like a dog to make her a pretty card, i wanted to make something as a keepsake, so i did one of my fave colour combo's...pink/brown,

Everything is pretty much those colours, even my stamped image, isnt she funky? she is from dimensions forth and was a mere £3.99 unbelievable!!!!

I made a twisted easel card with lots and lots of stickles as per my usual design lol, i just love how it shines without all the mess,

here is a card i made using the cuttlebug embossing folder, and the some odd girl digi from one of our sponsors, she is called mamma mae isnt she lovely,

Id like to enter this card into the crafty pads challenge something new, ive gone with new baby if you couldnt tell lol.

Super Dad

My 2 boys alex(5) and kyle(2) have a massive thing for super heroes...spiderman/superman/incredibles even inspector gadget lol....you name em they love em lol, so this digi was perfect for thier fathers day card,

He is fab isnt he he is called heroman

The recipe for this card was very simple i used red card stock and grey pearlised paper,grey/silver ribbon, my stickles of course as no card is complete without my stardust stickles lol, i think i use it on everything lol, ive also used those grey star brads but i cant remember the brand of those sorry, then my parisian border punch
the sentiment is a sticker i got from pda craft warehpouse in langleymill,

When i went to craft central they were selling off loads of die cut decoupage sheets really cheap, well as i havent always time to put a card together and dont like dodgy rush jobs too much, i thought perfect,I added some dovecraft papers,brown satin ribbon and a craftwork cards sentiment, and drew out a tag and bobs ya uncle, well not mine but someones lol

my stamp magic goodies

yesterday i went to the stamp magic craft fayre in doncaster with my friends sylvia and elke, they have been before but i havent so i wasnt sure what was going to be there, well as you can see i didnt struggle to spend my pennies lol, it was great,

Here is all my yummy stash,That teenager stamp is from dimensions forth and id not had any of thiers before but i couldnt resist her, well she stamped great and looks fab coloured in,
Look at all those lotv stamps and inks!!! and the whimsy stamp tags are fab, i bet you cant guess what ive been doing can you lol....i bought some kling on too so last night i mounted about 12 stamps then this morning ive stamped them all out and had to have a colouring in session,

When the kids have gone to bed tonight guess what im doing??? well making cards with the gorgeous images ive coloured in of course lol. also got a couple dt projects to get completed asap.

I just love those gorjuss girls dont you? i have at least 6 or so of them, i think they are super cute and use them regularly,

Here is one of them, i followed my nose on this one so the layout wasnt from a sketch or anything like that and i must say im happy with it !!I used my paper piercer to make the faux stitching then went over it with my sakura white souffle pen, of course the promarkers came out as always lol, i just cant use waterpencils or other mediums, and then used star dust stickles on all the edges which ive tried to show with the close up?
The papers are all from the lovely sugar and spice paper pack from dovecraft which i just love, the colours and patterns are beautiful, i hate big garish patterns.

I am so excited and chuffed to bits to announce i am now a DT member of dutch dare card challenges, i entered the call a couple of weeks ago and didnt think id made the cut then yesterday i got an email from kelly inviting me to join the team, of course i said yes as its an honour, and now i cant wait to get stuck in, they have some fab challenges coming up i can tell you,

A card for a friend

I made this card for a crafty friends birthday, i wanted to keep it simple and focus on the stamp, i just love the rhyme, its perfect for any crafter dont you think?I used stickles around all the edges an layers which ive tried to show you in this picture, and added some extra sparkle on some of the stripes with my glitter stickles pen,
the sentiment is a craftwork cards one, the lace border punch is the fabulous martha stewart one, i used a friends punch as im not lucky enough to have many yet,
I inked up my prima flowers with my brilliance inks so they matched the papers, and added some pearl gems onto them and the lace punch.
