A year in review blog hop

Karin over at an 'I' for paper has started of a blog hop. the idea is to upload your fave 12 projects from 2011, then pop back and link up your post, then share the love by commenting on fellow blog hoppers blogs as well,

i thought this sounded like a great idea and alot of fun so here are my fave projects of 2011, i do hope you like them too.

A couple of christmas piccies

 Hi folks i thought id share a few pics with you....

This first one is after we had tidies up the presents....yep that is what tidy looked like on christmas afternoon lol and there is mama trying to help bless her lol

 here is hubby in his santa hat, we wore one all morning till 4pm into the afternoon, doesnt he look dashing lol

 Here is my massive table for christmas dinner, i had to get in an extra table as i had 12 to cook for lol, we had a three bird and a large lamb roast with all the trimmings, as you can see my colour theme was burgundy/gold and cream.

We said we didnt want any more tracks for the boys or large items as we literally dont have the space, and we bought our alex a hot wheels wall track, but look who didnt listen....

its flippin massive, where on earth are we putting that i dont know.

It was completely bonkers all day long, and the last of our guests went by 7pm, then me an hubby could relax, although i had to be up at 4,30 boxing day morning for the next sale so not much sleep.

Merry christmas

Good evening peeps, i know its late but its been a very very busy day here in the house of tomo,

i have had all the fam here for the day, so it has been chaotic !!!!!!

Well my boys have had a super duper day up to thier eyes in wrapping and lots of pressies, this is the first year both my boys have been excited as out youngest kyle is 3 in march, last year he needed a lot of help to unwrap his gifts but this year he opened his quicker than our eldest alex who will be 6 on new years day lol

I myself have had an amazing day, i got spoilt rotten and my fab hubby bought me some beautiful white gold diamond earrings !!!!!!!! they made me cry cos they were perfect,

anyway i hope you have all had an amazing day today and you have gotten all you wished for?

No piccies from me as of course its christmas and i have been far to busy lol

 Good mornin folks, how is everyone doing then? you all ready for christmas!!!!! or is that still the taboo word lol

Ive been really busy in the evenings as ive had quite alot of orders for cards and jewellery, its kept me going as ive been and still am unwell,

This card was made for my brother who was 15, he is the ultimate skater boy lol he spends his life at the skate park with his board or bike, so this some odd girl digi "skater kodi" was perfect for the job in hand,

A close up of the dude wording and the elasticated twine from my ever expanding stampin up stash, it has a million uses lol

I dont know about you but the constant stream of christmas cards is starting to drive me nuts lol, and i still have half a dozen to show you at that!!!!

Make it shimmer

Over at Dutch dare we have another challenge up and running for you just in case you have all your pressies bought and wrapped and are prepared for the big day, you will have something to do if you play along with us lol,

 We are sponsored by Di' digi's, they have some amazing digi images over there, you ought to pop over and take a peek, unfortunately i havent showcased one of them this time as my printer is still out of ink!!! i know its been out of ink for ages but with all my pennies going on other things i havent gotten round to buying more.

So anyway i had a 50th birthday card to make but the recipient isnt in to girly stuff or flowers etc etc so i opted for something really plain but obvious, the banner is made using my petite banner su punch, and ive stickled everything lol the card is actually a golden shimmer but you cant really tell and the blue card stock is also a shimmer pearl card so this does look better in real life than in the photo. the 50 is hand cut form a stencil and the today is peel offs

Hi guys here is my card for the latest challenge at creative craft challenges, we have a white on white christmas theme, as you can see from my card you can add colour to your images or stamps, we have 3 fab sposnors for this challenge so it really isnt one to miss,

 i chose to make an easel card as they are lovely, and used a meljens design digi image as they are one of our sponsors

Good morning everyone, isnt it cold brrrrrrrrrrrr, have you had any snow yet? we have been told we should have but none yet!!! is it bad of me to HATE snow lol, fair enough it looks lovely and the kids love it but its hard to get about in an gets in the house and is soooo cold lol.

Anyway lol enough of my bah humbugness lol, are you ready for christmas yet? No me neither lol

Ive had 10 last min orders for christmas cards 5 easel and 5 normal needed for wednesday lol 7 are done have 3 more to go, here is one of the easel cards.

This one was for someone not local and as luck would have it i had just recieved my new lotv across the miles stamp, so perfect chance to use it,

my little lads a donkey

 He he he...now before you all think ive gone nuts my little lad was in his school christmas play "starlight" an yep ya guessed it he was a donkey lol, and if im honest he didnt like it he said people laughed at him cos he had a fat donkey costume on, Now maybe im biased (hell yeah i am) but i think he made the cutest best donkey EVER,

dont you agree lol, now i bet you cant tell which one my alex is can you?????? go on have a go lol

 here he is again in his main scene where they sang a donkey song he ran all over stage with his rider,

And his last piccie once the show had done, he was soooo proud as daddy came along,

santa easel card

Again here are ordered xmas cards from me!!! i bet your sick of them now arent you lol, the lady wanted santa on it and an easel card so this is what i came up with!! the santa is die cut decoupage from my last years stash, i have loads from last year that ive been trying to get used up, of course so i can buy new stuff lol.

The papers are from a new paper pack but for the life of me i cant remember which pack at the moment,

Gosh the amount of easel cards ive been asked to make for christmas as much as i love making them, im getting a bit fed up,

I seem to find myself apologising alot these days for being behind with my dt posts, i can only say this is as its christmas and my mind goes scatty lol, ive had a rotten cold as well recently, also if you are a visitor of mine you might no we had our combi boiler break monday, and it wasnt till late yesterday eve that it was finally fixed, so my mind has been else where,

Good morning folks, "RANT ALERT"..........................................what a week ive been having, my boiler is broke!!!! yep in this freezing weather with 2 young kids, and im waiting for my replacement part, its been broken since monday so i have no heating or hot water!! its awfully cold in our house, thankfully my eldest is at school all day and my youngest is wearing extra layers same as me and he doesnt seem bothered by it, and to top it off ive now come down with a cold so feel wretched.......

Cards for men Challenge and blog hop - lots of prizes

Another year has whizzed by. Cards for Men has now been running for two years and to celebrate we have a bloghop running as well as our usual challenge. The theme for our challenge is the number '2'. Interpret it how you will, two cards, two images, pairs, twinsets (card & gift), etc. We'll draw a random winner and top 3 as usual. Here's what I made:

I chose to make a card with matching tag, which came in real handy as it was one of my sons friends birthday party the other day, i left the design minimal and used mainly pearlised card stock and my sakura to give some faux stitching

craftwork cards christmas card

I ordered 3 craftwork cards goody bags the other day when they were on special offer, this is one of them, i like the fact that there is non traditional christmas colours in there, i thought these yellows were lovely, so i paired them up with golds and this is what happened! Around the die cut snowflake and sentiment i put the gold stickles to give it some sparkle
that cute little snowman is a die cut from elsewhere but for the life of me i cannot remember where lol, i cut the circle out with my stampin up circle punch and job done lol
