Whilst looking through my holiday pictures i saw these and just had to share them with you, its just me with my boys and few random shots but i love them so thought you might too, it makes me really happy to look at my photo's so thought id share the love lol.

Allsorts challenge week 15

This week over on allsorts it is a sketch challenge with the added theme of torn edges, i quite liked the sketch so thought id give it a go, i tore down all the edges of the paper by hand,and rather than use a stamp as i often do (im addicted to stamping) i decided on these lovely flowers with a lovely lace backing.

To make this card i used:

• making memories backing papers fresh anthology-eliza
• sentiment is from a hampton art,studio g stamp pack
• flowers from stash
• gorgeous lace ribbon from trimcraft
• silver gems were brought from ebay
• sakura souffle pen to do the edges

This is really a simple card to make but i think it looks really pretty, what do you think? it took me about 1 hour to put together.

my stamp something card

This week over on stamp something the challenge is called birthday somethings, which is a nice easy one i think, i enjoyed making this card as any opportunity to get colouring in and using my bug is appreciated lol,

To make this card i used:

• dcwv retro prints backing paper
• ollifants autumn stamp set
• promarkers to colour in
• cuttlebug embossing folder (sorry cant remember which one it is)
• nesties (circle scallop)
• jelly tots from craftwork cards
• black peel off

Ive not been able to craft much recently as my boys have been particularly hard work as kiddies are of course, im having withdrawals lol.

papertake weekly is has its 100th challenge

Firstly, sorry the picture is terrible i was having a bad day lol, this card is for papertake weekly, this week is their 100th challenge so they decided on take a pick which basically means you cam pick any of the last 99 challenges and go with it.
I decided on the challenge from 5th jan 2009 which was called seeing spots,

To make this card i used :

• my mind eye bloom and grow backing papers
• my minds eye decoupage pad
• silver peel-offs

And thats it, this was a nice easy card to make and besides the picture looking rubbish the card actually looks pretty good,

im chuffed with myself

Today i took the leopard card that my friend ordered (the one below) i was quite nervous as i was'nt sure if it was what she was after, well i need'nt have worried she absolutely loved it, in fact she got emotional and said it was perfect and her friend would really love it, i was made up that she liked it of course and it gave me a bit of a confidence booster, she also insisted on giving me double the price i was asking for it too.

So now im going to be busy as she wants me to make a couple of notebooks and some christmas cards, im just hoping my 2 under 4's will let me get some time to do them lol,

Also last sunday some crafting buddies an i went to buy loads of new things and im sooo desperate to make something with them, ive a serious addiction to stamps/promarkers and nice backing papers, not to mention flowers lol,

I missed the first challenge on i love promarkers as my laptop broke on me before i could upload my finished card, so i made sure i could enter this one lol, challenge 2 is a sketch,

secret crafter challenge card

This weeks over at secret crafters saturday challenge is called fancy corners, my card is quite plain but i think there's enough on there to look nice? for my "fancy corners" i just made the corners out of brown card and used my deckle edged scissors to shape them nicely,

To make this card i used;

• dcwv retro prints backing papers
• my new stamps are from rubbernecker stamps and are called coffeetime set
• brown and cream card

this card was really easy to make and took around 15-20 minutes to make.

leopard card for friend

A friend of mine wanted a card making for one of her very close elderly friends, well i was very happy to make this for her as im struggling to get commissions at the moment, but when she told me what she wanted i was a bit surprised to be honest and didnt know if i could do it but said yes anyway,

well she wanted a funky leopard themed card for a 90 year old, it took me ages to decide how to do this as i didnt have anything to do with leopards in my stash,

As my friend likes decoupage i thought that was the way to go, so i got hold of a leopard picture and cut few up and made my own decoupage with it, i bought the backing paper from PDA and used the jelly tots to add some bling there the wedding bells selection, my friend likes shiny things so thought it would be good? i used gold peeloffs to give it a bit of finish, and used some gold ribbon i got in a swap,

What do you think??? i know its not everyones cup of tea including mine tbh but its what she wanted i just hope she likes it,

As the challenge over at ABC is anything goes with added theme of animals i thought this was just right so im entering it for thes weeks challenge.

creative inspirations entry

This is my entry into creative inspirations challenge 15 which is tags,

This is my first successful note pad which i made with my BIA and i was overjoyed that i had done it right,

This is one of my absolutely favourite photo's from our holiday, i know you cant see their faces but it just signifies the whole day, alex was over the moon to finally catch a crab bless him come to think of it so was daddy lol, alex wanted to keep it but we had to explain it needed to go back in the sea lol,

Crafty creations card

This is my first card in a while as ive just got back from my holiday in devon, it was fantastic and lovely to see some of my family again who are lucky to live not 5 mins from the lovely beach in paignton, it was a much needed break for all of us.

going on holiday

This is going to be my last post for a week as im going on holiday YAY im so excited, we are going to devon for a week to see my gran an grandad, the weather is not looking good but i really dont care lol.

strugging to upload

hi everyone.........

I have actually made a couple of cards for challenges but unfortunately dont seem able to upload them at the minute, im still working on husbands laptop and it is very temperamental lol,
i cannot wait to get mine back as it is so much easier for me to use,probably because its what im used to. im a bit miffed actually cos wanted to enter these cards into the challenges grrrr, but hey-ho what can you do.

recent piccie of the boys

Just before i log off i just have to show you this photo i took on my mobile phone the other day, its no professional picture but i absolutely love it, even though my little (big) lad is being sooo naughty at the moment when i look at this photo i melt, its soo true to his personality, he is so protective over kyle and you can see it in this picture, dont you just love the natural photos like this? i know i sure do lol

laptop is poorly

Dont you just hate it when your laptop/pc gets ill lol, mine is going in for repair tomorrow and dont know how long they will have it, they have said at least 5 days, so my posts may be a bit hit and miss? im hoping to use my hubby's whilst its gone but thought id give you all the heads up as to why i may not be online as much posting on my blog,

This card is made for the just magnolia challenge this week which is called button, which speaks for itself lol you just had to add buttons somewhere on your creation,

This is a first for me as ive only just come across die cut dreams challenge blog,but thought i would give it a go, I made this card for a friend of mine who wanted a art deco card i hope she likes it?

sketch saturday #60

I decided to make a mens card for this weeks challenge over at sketch saturday as i have my brothers birthday coming up and he is into cars and racing etc, this was actually quite fun to make,

To make this card i used:

• stamping up backing papers
• some gorgeous two tone pearlescent grey paper i bought from papermill
• the decoupage is from the craft house called sports
• ribbon from papermill also
• black gems from ebay
• sentiment sticker from stash,unsure where from
• black sakura to do faux stitching

This card does actually look better in real life than the picture even if i do say so myself lol

C.R.A.F.T challenge 9

Over on c.r.a.f.t challenge blog this week the challenge is to create an unusual shaped card and not do the usual rectangle or square shaped cards, i thought id keep mine simple but add a little bling,There i also a DT call there i thought id give it a go as im not a DT for any challenges yet, fingers crossed but theres loads of excellent competition for the spot

blossoms and butterflies

This is my entry to this weeks cupcake craft challenge no 48,

I made this with the following:

• Stamping up backing papers
• personal impressions cute characters set 1 stamp and greeting
• coloured with pro markers
• dcwv stickers
• peel off butterfly
• sakura stardust pens to do the faux stitching effect

my little mans creation for pre-school

At my little boys pre-school they wanted all the little ones to make a bug from a paperplate, we gave alex a few options and he chose ladybird, he did all the painting, glueing, and chose the colors etc but we did the cutting for him, he looked thoroughly chuffed when it was done, the only thing missing on the photo is the legs which were put on later from pipe cleaners.

I thought i would share it with you all as i thought he did a terrific job with limited guidance.

my card for colour create #23

Over on colour create challenge 23 is blue and white with an optional vintage theme, my card isnt really vintage thats for sure but it does have an traditional feel about it, This card has been made for my cousin who wanted it for a christening,

To make this card i drew a christening gown by hand then covered in glamour dust and put a blue ribbon around. the circle is the scalloped nesties but i punched little holes all around with my crop-a-dile,
