just magnolia,week 14-buttons

This card is made for the just magnolia challenge this week which is called button, which speaks for itself lol you just had to add buttons somewhere on your creation,

To make this card i used;

• Wild asparagus backing papers
• tilda image
• coloured with promarkers
• personal impressions stamp for the sentiment
• sizzix swirl die cut
• glamour dust on swirl
• green buttons from the 99p rack

not sure im happy with the end result but dont have much more time to craft today so will have to do,

my card for colour create #23

Over on colour create challenge 23 is blue and white with an optional vintage theme, my card isnt really vintage thats for sure but it does have an traditional feel about it, This card has been made for my cousin who wanted it for a christening,

To make this card i drew a christening gown by hand then covered in glamour dust and put a blue ribbon around. the circle is the scalloped nesties but i punched little holes all around with my crop-a-dile,

To make this card i used;

• scallop circle nestibilities
• glamour dust
• backing paper from the works
• blue/silver ribbon from stash (unsure where got it from)
• pearl gems from ebay
• corners drawn along with sentiments

just magnolia sketch

This is my entry for this weeks just magnolia challenge week 11 which is a sketch by bev, ive also put the sketch on so you can see, i actually enjoyed making this card as i had my new backing papers to play with.

To make this card i used

• *NEW* papermania signature range they are called regency and i love them
• image given to me in a swap so not sure which tilda it is
• promarkers to colout in image
• white sakura gel pen for doodling
• prima flowers
• gem brads from dovecraft
• silver gems from own stash bought from PDA
• text is from a new stamp set i bought called personal impressions from hobbycraft
• ribbon lace i bought from a local sewing shop
• flamour dust for wings and around sentiment

This card was made from 2 challenges and i really enjoyed working with this sketch.

The new stash i used on this card was the image which i got from a friend in a swap, the challenges are;

a new card for two challenges

I have recieved some new stamps today so was desperate to have a play with them, i thought i might as well try to do a challenge with them so had a look at my challenge blogs and came across http://abc-challenge.blogspot.com/ for this challenge you had to use the colour voilet, so i started off making a violet card but then i also came across another challenge blog http://cupcakecraftchallenges.blogspot.com/ which was asking for challenges using glitter well as i love using my stickles and my glamour dust i thought this card was perfect for both,
I used my new tilda stamp and put glamour dust around all the edges but you cant see it to well then used my stickles to glitz up the flowers, my backing paper is from the pocket full of posies mat stack which already has glitter on it,

two other cards ive made recently

here are 2 new cards i had a go at making, Ive been so busy of late that my card making has taken a bit of a back seat( unfortunately) but i thought id show you these for now, the top one has three of the trees 3d'd not that you can tell int he photo lol and the bottom one is a slider card,

......for my friend Jilly's birthday, i was worried about this card turning out ok as it was a bit different to what i usually do, but i think it turned out ok? well Jilly seemed to like it anyway lol, i used my laura ashley contemporary papers for this as id not used them much and i think there quite elegant, then made the flower using my daisy punches that i love lol, then used my gold glamour dust to decorate appropriately. the photo doesnt show of how glittery an shiny this card is but if you pop to jilly's blog http://jillyscreations.blogspot.com/ she has a better picture of it along with all her other hand made cards she recieved,
