Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope my scheduled post has arrived lol, as we speak i should be at school for the end of year assembly, and our headmaster is retiring :-( so we are having a surprise gift giving assembly as well so i shall be busy for a while today.

Anyway our newest challenge at Cardmadfairy is all about christmas....now i know its only july but for those of us that like to get prepared this could be the nudge you need to get started, ive made 4 or 5 cards so far this year lol but was supposed to make a couple a month lol however i have said that every year lol.

Good morning folks, i do hope your all well??? that is presuming anyone is here reading this lol,

Ive been a slow blogger lately im afraid as ive had sooooo much on, and my alex is finishing up year one at school so been busy sorting teachers gifts and cards, also kyle is in preschool so have had those to do as well!!!

and our wonderful headmaster is retiring so we busy organising surprises for him friday, who knew being in the ptfa would be sooooo busy lol

and we are off on our holidays next week so ive been busy packing for us all lol, please dont let there be torrential storms in spain lol,

crafting has been a bit back seat the last couple of weeks except for orders which im luckily getting all the time,

My enormous doncaster show goodies were their sitting for me so i had to have a play lol,

look at all this lovely lot lol, the bed is almost chocker with all my fave things

lotv/martha stewart/inks/charms/ribbon etc etc etc and my lovely lots of jewellery making items!!!!

Anyway its our new challenge over at Dutch Dare this week and our theme is all about a recipe

Here is my card made using the sponsors image which is from saturated canary, it is for alex's teacher i do hope she likes it???

My second stamped image is the tag sentiment form whimsy stamps, the papers are from forever friends, and so is the ribbon, ive put stickles on the card but you cant see it too well, then popped on some gems and taa daaaa lol

i love these letter beads they have been really popular

Christmas in july

Oh my gosh!!!!

im late again lol, what can i say ???? my only excuse is ive not really been online at all today!!! as ive been completely embroiled in my new book that im reading!!!!!

anyone fancy a guess as to what that book may be ;-)

ive just finished number one and will be starting number two very soon lol,

Welcome to the world

Good morning, i was supposed to be going to the gym today, but my back is still really playing me up!!! my next physio appointment is next week so im hoping to get on with it till then, but im supposed to be getting in a few gentle sessions before i go back, but it just hurts to much :-(

so with that in mind i have made a card to share with you, it was a commision form school, they wanted it in lilacs and purples for a little girl,

The image is the fabulous LOTV whom i am a avid fan of, i have dozens of thier stamps, and the tag stamp is from stamping up, the papers are dcwv matt stack,

 I punched a mini hole in the actual card stock popped a jump ring in and put the charm thier just for a change,

and i also put the gorgeous PMS stamped sentiment inside, sorry the pics a bit naff, it says

"A child enters

your life

and fills a place

in your heart

you never knew

was empty"

isnt that beautiful, and usefull for so many diff occasions,

they are going by sooo fast, i was actually making christmas cards today lol, 4 all in all lol,

so anyway im here to share our new challenge at Creative craft challenges, we have another colour theme to get your juices pumping lol

I dont know about you lot but our weather is as unpredictable as the buses lol

its been torrential rain most of the time but with little bouts of humid sunshine in the mix,

So with that in mind our theme over at Cardmadfairy's digi days is

I chose summertime colours for my easel card along with a butterfly and flowers design paper

but feel free to interpret the summertime theme as you wish as long as you use a digi image.

The papers are from one of the latest kate knight freebie packs and of course the fabulous inage is one of the Cardmadfairy's and priced at 99p is a bargain lol

I used a chipboard sentiment out of my stash no idea where it came from but ive had it a while lol

 To keep the easel propped up i used a chunky yellow button with silver elastic from stampin up, and some adhesive light green gems,

Here is yet another commision i have had recently, ive been very lucky this year and things seem to be happening for me crafty and career wise lol

im getting lots of card and jewellery orders thru so thats fab, a little more on the latter another day i think lol,

Anyway my card for a child is this one, i think it speaks for itself really, a lovely little 3 year olds card

i was feeling blue lol so its pretty much all Blue and aqua colours lol

A bit of cliff

Hi guys

you may remember my post recently on my hello kitty commisioned card i had ordered??? well when the lady popped by at the adoption party to pick it up she loved it loads, well once someone else saw it they also made an order of an A5 easel card the same but with Cliff richards on it!!!

And her mum whom the card is for likes purples and lilacs, so anyway off to google i went again to try and find a decent image free to print off, i chose this black and white one as i thought it would match anything that i chose to put with it,

the papers are dovecraft, and the sizzix alphabet is the lipstick range, ive had this alphabet die for years and not used it i was debating selling them but glad i didnt as ive used them 3 times in a week now lol.

You cant see all the details on the card unfortunately but there are some gorgeous gems on there and some lace and  metallic ribbon, and lots of lovely pearlescent purple card stock. then topped with a craftworkcards sentiment and job done,

Im fast running out of DST as well lol, so its a good job im off to the doncaster summer crafting fayre next weekend!!! im going with a friend and i am driving as she cant, i spent some of my crafty money last weekend when another friend took me to the boots staff shop in notts lol so im £54 down now but as ive had LOTS of orders this year i still have over £200 in the pot lol, then it will be a case of stocking up the pennies again for nevembers nec fayre as thats a definate i always go there lol,

here is my card for you, its all monochromatic lol as wanted to keep it in line with the little karate kids ghee lol, i used the charcoal dovecrafts paper pack which ive had forever (about 4yrs)

 And Also got the chance to use my stamping up pennants punch, then all i added was some 1.5 cm satin ribbon,sakura pen for faux stitching, my promarkers and a craft work cards sentiment and thats pretty much it,

I know it may not be everyones cup of tea but im quite pleased with it, maybe i could have added a bit of colour but never mind now lol,
