daring cardmakers - white christmas

Over at daring cardmakers the challenge is to create a christmas card that is mainly white with just a hint of colour, i like this theme quite a lot i think its very elegant, this was an extremely simple card to make but i like it alot,

To make this i used;

• lace tree embossing folder (cuttlebug)
• silver gems
• silver metallic ribbon
• 6x4 card blank
• silver peel off

And thats it, all done in about 20 mins including getting the bug out,

colour create challenge card

The challenge this week over at colour create is to use red/white and green and of course to make a christmas card,so i think this one fits the bell perfectly?

I used some die cuts on this than added loads of brads to make it look a little more even.

To make this card i used;

• cuttlebug embossing folder snowflake
• red and green brads

• green ribbon
• die cuts
• nestie oval scallops

This photo was really a pain to take and still hasnt reall come out very well, ive made this card for friday sketchers, i went away from traditional colours with this one just to see how it came out,

my card for 4 challenges

Well i have actually managed to make 1 or 2 cards today and have made this one for 4 challenges in total, i am quite pleased with this one,

The challenges are;

1. papertake weekly - christmas crackers
2. creative card crew - favourite things
3. 365 cards - tied up in knots
4. sunday sketch and stamp - sems sketch

I have slightly altered the sketch but think it still looks like the original, the knots are on my bows and well my fave things are the image/gems/ribbon/flowers etc etc lol

I have made this card for my neice who is 8 today....Happy birthday katie, she loves all things pink and girly so thought a lovely tilda would be perfect for her, i used my new ek success border punch which i love and my nesties.

Ive decided to have a go at a challenge over at just christmas and birthday cards, as i quite liked the simplicity of the sketch which karin has put together, i chose a christmas card as you can see above

I am sooooooo excited as i have never been before and have been saving a few pounds here and there to take with me, i doubt i will sleep as for the last few nights ive been totting up a list instead of sleeping so goodness knows what ill be like tonight lol
I have the horrible job of driving lol and i have'nt driven there before so will also be worrying about that to lol,
