A few forgotton CAS cards to show you

I thought id share these cards with you that i have made within last 3 weeks, they all follow a simple theme and design, and rather than enter these into any challenges i just thought id show you them for the fun of it lol,

This one is only about 3x4 inches in size and i used kanban and craftworkcards stashThis one is 4x4 inch i embossed the border and used my sakura pen on it, popped some gems and a craftworkcards sentiment on an some grossgrain ribbonAnd similar here but used dovecraft masculine papersAnd again lol but with a circa designs tag stamp as the main feature

Hope you liked them, all very simple no frills so to speak but nice and easy and still reasonably pretty lol, well i think so ;-)

Im lovin CAS cards at the min

I think that the understated look of a CAS card are absolutely beautiful, i was asked to make a couple of sympathy cards, well as they are for such an occasion i think understated is the most befitting, i hope you like it?

Party your pants off

This was made for the daughter of a friend of mines 16th birthday so i wanted to make something a bit sparkly, she loves dancing and singing and generally partying etc, as you can imagine from a sixteen year old these days, I put glitter in the bodice to add some bling but actually you cant see it too well on this photo, but trust me it looked stunning, i used silver embossing powder,The sentiments are from the creative expressions stamp sets which i have loads of, and the feathers have been neglected in my stash for quite some time, i thought it gave a bit of a dance/music theme. the pink satin ribbon was from craft central as is most of my ribbon lol, and the papers are from dcwv dressed up.

Ive got the most lovely stamps cant remember the brand !!!

but i thought they looked nice just on a plain embossed card, what do you think? I used a 6x6 scalloped card blank and embossed the sides with my funky purple embossing board, popped some satin white ribbon on and used my green glitter sakura pen, then i found out some old pale green gems for the corners,

The sentiment was stamped using versafine ink in yep greem again lol.

The text says " take heart....all will be well in time" as you cant see it all that well despite a million attempts to get a good photo,

Today ive got a friend of mines daughters birthday party to go to, im quite looking forward to it,

so when the other half gets out of bed i think we shall go out for a bit with the boys then ill have to find out what to wear and try do something with my hair lol.

I am in real need of some male cards and as im lacking in the male type papers i thought id make one like this with my textured card stock, The centre image is from the kanban range and looks fab,

Its a very simple design,mainly using my sakura pen, martha stewart punch and some coloured card stock, sentiment and candy from craft work cards and my distress inks for the edges.

going purple crazy

I made this card for a young friend of mines 18th birthday, she likes to think she is a goth bless her, me being 30 now i consider myself a little old to know whats what with teenage fashion and hype lol.
I know she loves black and have heard her talk about purple so here we are. the recipe for this as you can see was very simple, No pretty papers were used, just some black shiny pearlescent card and some purple linen paper. I inked up the flowers into black and purple but they look a bit grey in piccie :-(
The layout i designed myself rather than my usual way of following a sketch, and the sentiment was from craftwork cards. brads of course were dove craft and voila.

male 21st card

I was asked to make this card for a friends brothers 21st, the requirements were cars and guitars, an if poss beatles as in the band, as you can see i couldnt get hold of
a decent image of them to use so stuck with the first 2 option,

I was in a bit of a dither wandering what to do, and was running out of dst, but i remembered my coloured staples i bought ages ago so got them out instead, so holding all the papers on are bronze coloured staples and they held excellently if i do say so myself lol,

ATC challenges first ever challenge

It is their very first challenge over at atc challenges, and to make it easy they have chosen anything goes, now im a complete novice on atc's and this is only the 2rd in almost 3 years ive ever made,
but to get me into it a bit and give them some extra advertisement i thought id have a go!!!!
