Ribbon get well card for a guy !!!!

I was asked to make a card for a mad forest fan who is ill, i dont really have much footy stuff in my stash and that what i do have isnt the right colours so i thought id use this lovely lotv stamp and colour it in!!! the papers are forever friends for him, and then ive looped lots of ribbon to give a bit of something different, I really love the look of the ribbon when i do it like this!! i hand written the sentiment as my computer ran out of ink lol, i didnt want to put get well soon as he is very ill and not sure he will, but i was asked by a close friend to make one so put "feel better soon" i do hope it seemed appropriate,
As it turned out they really liked it!!!
which i am glad on such circumstances i never know what to make,

Ive just hit 21000 hits on my blog how great is that, I cant believe that many people have had a look at my blog, when i first started the whole computer blog stuff was completely foreign to me but over the past 2 years or so ive learned so much, from looking at other peoples blogs and self taught, ive loved every minute of it,

So as a way of sayong thanks to everyone for your support im going to be havin a blog candy soon, i have got a few nice bits so far, and im just waiting for some new bits to be delivered to add to it,

My new lotv stamp - isnt she cute

I got this little beauty the other month from a craft fayre and i just had to get her mounted, she is just too cute lol, this is the first card ive made using her, i have quite the collection of lily of the valley stamps now that ive had to get them there own storage box lolI didnt want to put any papers on there as i thought she looked pretty enough on her own, I used my martha stewart double scallop punch as i love this one, and then various brands of flowers, prima etc, and the ribbon ive had in my stash for quite some time, i glittered up the brads for some extra bling and then wrote up a sentiment of my laptop, as per usual i got out my promarkers to colour her in, and finished her off with some glossy accents.

Cardmadfairy's digi days - Add some flowers

And doesnt time fly we are on another challenge over at Cardmadfairy's digi days and yep its all about flowers !!! although dont forget you HAVE to use a digi somewhere on your creation, I chose to keep the main focus on the digi of jenny's which is flowers, the rest of the card is understated but without being too plain?? hope thats what came out of it lol

Its a simplistic design using my cuttlebug embossing folder, along with some pale lilac ribbon some card candy and my promarkers, then of course my double scalloped martha stewart edged punch, the paper is a lovely pearly shimmery purple.

Time for a bubble bath

I bought this embossing folder from my last craft fayre i think it was a creative expressions?????

i loved it when i saw it and had to have a play, this stamp was a friend of mines cant remember what brand sorry

I used my promarkers sparingly on this but still think it looks ok?? The only other stuff i popped on to this is some cerise pink card, ribbon and lots of stickles on the bubble and job done,

another easel card....Boy i do love those things lol

This card was made for a ladies 70th birthday, one of my mums friends asked me to make her this and she wanted an easel card in this shape, they are soo lovely but tricky to shape the rest of the papers that way,I used one of my art deco style stamps i have and my laura ashley papers which dont get out often, i just felt they matched so well on this occasion lol My other bits an bobs that i used where my martha stewart doily lace punch and my oval nesties, plus these gorgeous flowers in a mixture of peaches,pinks and whites with a lovely pink gem in the centre, also i have this lovely peace of pale pink lace which seemed perfect
all the papers are shimmery and pearly, and then i just used silver peeloffs for the sentiments,

congratulations, your a star

Yesterday i was asked to make a card for this coming friday!!!! yikes, it is for a congrats on exam card, i was in a bit or a quandry as i dont really have any stash for that and wasnt sure what design to use, so i used rozzy's sketch from our trimmie challenge and went from there,Its actually a very simple card as i havent used any DP's at all just my metallic dcwv matt stack and some lovely burgundy card stock, and my newest fave punch from martha stewart which is this fabby star norder punch, its so versatile, i had already coloured this fab fella from greeting farm in and is what i took my colour scheme from as i didnt want another male blue or brown card lol, tha tag digi is a stitchy one, as per my usual choice i used stickles all around the edges.

I coloured her in first on one of my evenings with my promarkers so when i made the card i used corresponding colours on it, i dont often use yellows but the card seemed to need yellow lolI want to enter this one into the following challenges

crikey what a busy week ive had here at the house of tomlinson lol, my boys are driving me insane and i mean that quite literally lol,

Ive been on my diet again for 5 days and its horrid lol no chips/takeaway and whats worse is no wine lol,

ive been going to the gym and doing fitness classes as well and today will be my 4th session of the week, im determined to get fitter for my boys and hopefully drop at least 1 dress size.

wish me luck lol.

here is my card for the challenge, i chose to make a easel card with lots of pretty blues and greens for a change, you cant see it but i also added icycle stickles around the edges but unfortunately hasnt shown up well.

I put some of my stampin up twine in the buttons as its super thin and very strong, and only cost me £3.75 for loads of it lol, the papers are also from stamping up, ive joined a su club so expect to see much more of there stuff on my creations lol,i am entering this into

DDCC # 126 a sketch for you

We have a new sketch challenge up for you at dutch dare today, however the lovely kelley has had a technical error so the post will be going up a little late, however here is mine as if i dont do it now im likely to forget lol,

Here is a card i was asked to make and finished it in time for todays challenge, i chose to make a twisted easel card in lots of pretty pinks.

I mixed up about 4 different types of flowers and stickled them up, and kept the papers fairly simple apart from 1 style of DP, my take on the sketch is slightly different which you will notice if you pop over and have a look at the blog, why dont you pop over see if your a winner from our last challenge and keep checkin in over there as kelly will be posting the sketch and challenge deets as soon as she can.

happy 60th birthday card

I made this card for a friends husbands 60th birthday, his fave stuff is beer lol and he still acts like a 20 year old so i thought this very appropriate lol, i have had this kenny K digi for ages and i love him, so i dug him out and gave hime some life.I left the design quite plain as i do with alot of my male cards lol as they just dont appreciate it as much as the ladies lol (well most of them)Those fabby nesties were sent to me by a dear trimmie friend so im not sure which style they are, for the ribbon detail i just popped a loose not in before i stuck it down, of course my promarkers coloured in the funky image which is called cheers dude,

and to finish off i put platinum stickles all around the edges which has a fabulous sparkle.

its been a real busy few days here and my house still looks like a tip, sorry this post is a bit late, i didnt schedule it and got a early surprise visitor so hasnt been done till now,
