Well its been a while since i last entered a challenge as i have been having some laptop problems but here we go with one so fingers crossed for me i get to complete it lol,

i have made this for cute card thursday as the title says it its all about ribbons,

and i think my card is definately that lol,

To make this card i used;

5x5 card blank

tag stamp from a craft fayre not sure of make

sakura pens

ribbon assortment of papermania dovecraft etc

light green gems

gem brad from dovecraft

backing papers from MME free from magazine

pink card

Ive been without my laptop for about 3 weeks hence my lack of posting, i have been using hubbys but his was useless and i couldnt upload photographs, so hopefully now i have my own back ill be back on track and posting again,

for a good cause

Hi guys an gals, i wouldnt usually be such a cheeky little minx but thought why not at least ask for such a worty cause.....im doing the race for life in my area and looking to raise as much money as possible for such a worthy cause, my aunt died of cancer last year after a long battle so its extra special to me to do something really great,

i realise that the credit crunch is among us and times are hard but im appealing to your charitable side and hoping to get a few extra sponsors?? i have an online sponsorship form which can be found HERE any funds gratefully recieved will go straight to cancer research an not through myself,

again sorry to be a cheeky mare but in this case i thought it would be ok....

papertake weekly sketch 33 - my first GDT card

I was asked to be a GDT for PTW its a 4 week post and i was delighted to do it, this is my first challenge card and its a sketch,

there is a fab prize of $25 from simon says stamp for one lucky winner,

I hope you like my card i had loads of fun making it, its a 6x6 in easel card.

pretty pink papertake

This card has been made for this weeks PTW challenge which is as it says pretty and pink, here is the card i made for my friend who had just had her first child last night (congrats leigh-ann) as you can guess it was a girl lol,

To make this card i used the following stash;

• pink card stock
• corrugated with my hand held little corrugating thingy lol (sorry no idea what this thing is called lol)
• pink glitter rub on flower
• nestie scallop circles
• large gems
• cuttlebug die cut an emboss set
• pale yellow glitter card

I am actually going to add the babies name and weight to this card at a later date, hope she will like it as this was a hard sketch to follow.

Ive followed 2 challenges to make this card, the lighting was really bad when i took the photo im sorry about that,

For this weeks challenge over at cute card thursday i decided to make a note book, i know its quite plain but i quite liked the papers and didnt want to make the front too busy, hope you like it, i really enjoy having a go at notebooks,

CPS 149 part 4

here is my take on this weeks sketch over at cps, i have recycled bits from old shop bought cards and added a few things from my own stash, i hope that is ok? my motto is waste not want not lol.

I just had to share this with you, i bought these too t shirts of skeggy market but thought they were adorable, alex my 4 year old thinks its great to wear same tshirt as his baby bro, his says big brother and kyles says little brother....how adorable lol they will hate me when they are older lol,

also here is a picture of my eldest trying to make his first snowman remember he is only 4 bless him,and finally thier preschool photo which made me cry when i saw it.

charisma,s anything new challenge

ive been on a bit of a roll lately and managed 2 or 3 cards this week, which is really good for me as i struggle for crafting time, this card i made at our local craft group and this stock came in a goody bag so is new lol,

i sat for what seemed like hours to try get some ispiration for this card and here is the end project hope you like it? im entering it into charismas challenge,

• backing papers provided by good friend so not sure where they are from sorry

• peel off sentiment

mojo monday challenge 121

This is my take on the sketch over at mojo, ive not used this image for a while so thought i better give it some air, ive made this for a family birthday,

To make this card ive used;

• stamping up backing papers
• daisy and dandelion image
• die cut sentiment from nec
• lace ribbon from pear tree yard
• paper flowers from local craft shop
• button from MME collection
• sakura for doodling

this card is very pink and feminine i quite like the simplicity of it, hope you like it.

This card is for my mum, ive netered it into 3 challenges;

1. a spoonful of sugar - a recipe
2. totally gorgeous - a sketch
3. cute card thursday - all new.....(the papermania stuff is all new so is the stamp)

to make this card i used the following gorgeous stuff ...the new papermania capsule collection in sunshine which includes,

colour creat challenge 35

Here is my colour create challenge card which is called lemon and lime, now the picture for this isnt great i just coulodnt get the light right as its naturally very dull outside here today, the inner part of the card is covered with lime (green) paper and the ribbon has some green thread in it,

to make this i used the following;

• K an co backing papers from the daisy range
• fabric flowers in pale shades of yellow
• dovecraft gem brad
• woodware button
• computer generated greetin
• ribbon from craft central
• scallop nestie oval in pale yellow glitter card
• pale green paper for layering on front of the card

hope this is deemed suitable for the challenge lol

a card for 2 challenges and first for 2010

It was my friends birthday a few days ago so i had to make a card for her,i am strugggling a little at the moment with mojo and time so im quite surprised that i like this one,

I made this for 2 challenges too which are;

2. 365 cards - metal mania

Well i just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year, i hope 2010 will be everything you want it to be, hope there wont be too many bad heads in the morning lol.
