I am in real need of some male cards and as im lacking in the male type papers i thought id make one like this with my textured card stock, The centre image is from the kanban range and looks fab,

Its a very simple design,mainly using my sakura pen, martha stewart punch and some coloured card stock, sentiment and candy from craft work cards and my distress inks for the edges.

going purple crazy

I made this card for a young friend of mines 18th birthday, she likes to think she is a goth bless her, me being 30 now i consider myself a little old to know whats what with teenage fashion and hype lol.
I know she loves black and have heard her talk about purple so here we are. the recipe for this as you can see was very simple, No pretty papers were used, just some black shiny pearlescent card and some purple linen paper. I inked up the flowers into black and purple but they look a bit grey in piccie :-(
The layout i designed myself rather than my usual way of following a sketch, and the sentiment was from craftwork cards. brads of course were dove craft and voila.

male 21st card

I was asked to make this card for a friends brothers 21st, the requirements were cars and guitars, an if poss beatles as in the band, as you can see i couldnt get hold of
a decent image of them to use so stuck with the first 2 option,

I was in a bit of a dither wandering what to do, and was running out of dst, but i remembered my coloured staples i bought ages ago so got them out instead, so holding all the papers on are bronze coloured staples and they held excellently if i do say so myself lol,

ATC challenges first ever challenge

It is their very first challenge over at atc challenges, and to make it easy they have chosen anything goes, now im a complete novice on atc's and this is only the 2rd in almost 3 years ive ever made,
but to get me into it a bit and give them some extra advertisement i thought id have a go!!!!

A bit of bacardi

I was asked to make a card with bacardi and a music theme from a wife to her husband and i must admit i was a little scared!!! as in all the craft shops ive ever been in ive never seen anything bacardi lol, so it was of to google to have a nosey round, to be honest i never thought it would look any good but thats what she wanted, so i tried my very best to do something decent and this was the result!!Here is a close up of the front, i put a little heart charm on it for that emotional element, and the wording was copied word for word from what she waanted written and printed off my laptop

Its abother challenge over at creative craft challenges and we are going green, no i dont mean the colour lol i mean recycle,

Ive not been around much lately have i !!!!!!

with easter holidays hubby has been home, and he is a misery when it comes to my crafting :-o he doesnt feel the crafting love as i do, so ive not made anything for almost a week, and i can tell you im having serious withdrawals lol,

I thought id pop in briefly and show you this bright bracelet i made for my mum, she loves bright stuff espesh oranges.

I thought id enter it into the pear tree challenge as well as the theme is bright

i used cracked glass beads for this, all of which i got from ebay lol

Wow havent we had a lovely weekend, well we have here in derbyshire anyway lol, we walked to my mums for dinner yesterday, its about 2 mile each way, so that was lovely but alex (5) found it tiring lol.

not a square card

I thought id show you this card, its very minimalistic but i think its quite an elegant looking card?? what do you think? This was made entirely by the craftworkcards goody bag i got myself as a treat, so all the goodies are primarily 2 colours, mine where silver/purple

Hi guys its been a few days huh since my last post, its been crazy here and ive not had alot of time for my card making, and also had a mojo mash lol, so i thought get out the die cut decoupage and have a go it's easy. well here is the result!!! and you know what i like it.

Now whenYou say decoupage and most of you will think old fashioned maybe or just plain, but i love it on the right card with the right layout it can be fab,These die cut decoupage sheets were a mere 50p and you got 2 different sets on them, ill show you the other one later,Now this one i just love as its getting ready for holiday season and summer it just sums up the holiday experience for me lol,
