WOYWW

Well this is my first time over at WOYWW and here is mine, sorry the picture is poor i took it on my phone then resized and now it looks worse lol i should have taken a close up but what im working on is a dt card so didnt want to spoil the surprise lol,

Autumn is on its way

Here is a card ive put together for a trimmie buddy whom im doing a flower swap for ( i hope she doesnt see this first lol)

but ive used inspiration from the following challenges;

1. Spoonful of sugar - fall into Autumn
2. Allsorts - colours of Autumn
3. Creative Card Crew - Autumn/fall
4. Totally gorjuss - Flower
5. Paperplay challenges - autumn is a coming

to make this i used the following recipe

• 6x6 card blank
• cosmic shimmer mist in ancient copper
• anitas brown ribbon
• dovecraft tetured card stock
• dovecraft paper
• martha stewart punch
• green and bronze gems from ebay
• assorted flowers from various swaps and stash
• doodlebug stamps

black and white plus one at creative craft challenge, also a DT call till 10th oct

Well its that time again at Creative Craft Challenges and we have another challenge for you,

The lovely debs from The Crafty Pad is sponsoring us again with this amazing stamp,

Our theme is to make a project witht the theme of black and white plus one other colour,

here is my project, i chose a bookmark, i was a little short on time so its not fab but it does look better in reality lol

I have made this card for the dt call over at the sugar bowl,i had to follow there sketch and of course use a sugar nellie stamp, as you can see i went with a christmassy type lol i know she isnt a christmas stamp but i coloured her in christmas colour so think she looks ok lol?.

also i wish to enter this into the challenge over at charisma which asks for you to try something new, i have used a cricut expressions for the first time to cut out the stars, hope that counts?

and for totally papercrafts challenge - lets go dotty, this deffo counts for that one lol,

now i havent been able to make my dt card with one of thier gorge digis as of course im away lol and had to make my card in advance, i hope you like it? i thought id try a easel card design for it.

so try not to miss me as im away for 2 whole weeks lol,

Here is the amazing villa we stayed in on holiday in nerja spain, it was fantastic, we rented out the whole thing there were 10 adults and 3 kids, it was massive and had 6 bedrooms. ive never stayed in anything like it before. And here is the pool area, my eldest alex absolutely loved it and spent most of his time in there lol.And here are my fave piccies ive saved till last, my fantastically beautiful son alex on his first day at school bless him he isnt even 5 yet, he had the smallest size and they are still too big for him,

Fab "n" funky challenge card and there dt call

Over at Fab "n" funky they have dt call on at the moment, i thought why not ive it a go, i feel that challenges give me a real inspiration when i craft,

i have made this christmas card for the challenge which is called ............whateva,

i know this card is really simple and doesnt have any stamps/promarkers or my usual fave bling on it but somehow i think it works????

hi guys im back

well guys im back from my holidays in sunny spain and it was exactly that lol very very very HOT!!!!!!!!

We had a fab time apart from a few glitches which i wont bore you with lol, ive tried to upload my pics but having camera trouble so will have to share when i finally get them on,

im having trouble at the moment with a chipped bone in my foot so havent been able to get on top of unpacking and ashing etc so havent even had chance to look at my craft stuff,

*

i cant wait to get up and running with the challenges and my blog, but have lots of things to get sorted first,

And the most important thing of all is......

my beautiful little boy starts school tomorrow bless him he is so excited and so am i, ive got my camera at the ready tonight lol.

off on my holidays for 2 weeks

Hi guys i wanted to let anyone that reads my blog that im off on my jollies for 2 whole weeks, im off to spain in a gorge villa with its own pool woo hoo, never done a villa before so quite excited, its our first abroad hol for 4 years, and now we have 2 under fives we have soooo much thats been packed lol,

Anyway i wanted to show you these gift i made for the pre school teachers before i go, i know its been the school holidays for a while now but i am slow lol,

i made them completely from scratch, bought the cello from the local florists, and made individual parcels with rosy apple sweets in along with a lovely vase and artificial flower, there is shiny silver tissue paper too, and ribbon and tags lol

i hope you like them i know the teachers did thankfully, they said it was nice to get something other than chocs lol.

Anyway i will see you all in 2 weeks with photos lol

MME decoupage card

I made this card for a good friend of mine, they are into the more elegant older type of card so i got out my MME papers and decoupage paper pack and my stickles and gems and this is what happened,

Im entering this card into the following challenges;

1. Creative card crew ~ Sparkle and shine
2. My time to craft ~ glitter and glitz
3. The crafty pad ~ glitz and glitter

I actually like the end result of this i know there is no promarkers or stamps but it looks really pretty i think?

Well at craft club the theme was to make a rocker card, as id never made one before i wanted to keep it simple, and as ive lots of christmas cards to get made thought why not do a christmas rocker, and even though its a simple one i quite like it......watcha think guys??

I have made the buttons with my scallop circle small punch and used metallic shimy thread, and my martha stewart punch with some gems, its hard to embellish male cards so left it farily blank lol, the paper are from the retro floral papermania pack.

what can ya do with post it notes???

Last night at our local crafting group in derbyshire we had our goody bag night, and this time it was tracy to put together our goody bags, when she told us we had to use post it notes we all thought.....hmmmmm what will we do with those lol,

Well firstly thanks for all your help regards fixing my background, im not very good with that side of things so didnt dare go messing with codes etc so for now will have to use this plain background till i can get something a bit fancier lol.

my laptop has gone into the shop as it has been very very poorly,

ive borrowed a laptop but cant get all my piccies and some cards i made for a couple of challenges grrr,

im hoping to be back up and running properly next week but they have had my laptop for over a week allready and i think its terminal lol.
