another summery colours card

Here is another summery card but more in the colours this time, ive tried to get the colours to come out n the photo but this was the best i could do, ive followed 4 challenges this time,

1. Sketch saturday - sketch
2. My time to craft - xtra special (for my niece)
3. Fab n funky - summer in colour
4. Stamp something - happy somethings

I used another of my magnolia stamps as i sooo love them all lol and i got my lovely orangey papers out and here is the result, i hope you like it?

A challenge card for 3 challenges

Well here is a challenge card for 3 challenges, at long last ive been able to get my camera sorted out and here is a card for you, ive made it for;

i thought id go on a bit of a male themed cardathon and ive made a few but this one was for these particular challenges,

its fixed woo hooo

Well i thought my camera was completely broke but it seems hubby is worth something (only jokin babe) and he fixed it, so hopefully im going to get some cards uploaded tomorrow, ive made a few for chllenges which have now expired,

what a sad day

Today has been one of "those"days, my husbands aunty mary passed away last thursday and today was her funeral, she was a wonderful lady and will be sadly missed by many,

she was fine a couple of months ago but was diagnosed with 3 brain tumours 6 weeks ago and had a rapid decline, i suppose in some ways that was best as they were too far gone by the time they were found and it saved her being in pain for a long time, but she was only 64 so far too young,

sorry to be so morbid guys but thats how i feel today,

on the upside the weather has been lovely and my hubby took me out for lunch after the wake and we chatted about aunty mary, so was really nice,

and i thought i would share this lovely picture with you that my 4 year old drew, i love it and it really cheered me up, its one of his lovely butterflys he loves to draw.

Anyway i hope everyone is having a lovely long weekend? we are very busy here trying to re arrange our bedroom so we can tidy,

ribbons and bows at creative craft challenges

Well its that time again over at creative craft challenges,

our next challenge is called .........ribbons and bows,

we have the lovely crafty pad as a sponsor this time and debs has donated a gorgeous stamp, which i have used on my design, which is below

a card for several great challenges

Well ive not been able to craft much of late as ive got a few personal things going on aat the moment, this card is going to be entered into several different challenges,

Which are;

1. Allsorts - tag/label
2. C.R.A.F.T - birthdays/celebrations

4. La La Land - birthdays
5. Crafty creations - encouragement/celebrations
6. ABC - u for unused stash

I think thats a record for me to combine so many lol,

I have used;

• forever friend papers male theme
• tag is a stamp that i have made 3d
• blue gems
• blue brad
• silver twine
• old pieces of ribbon that were too small to use for anything else
• blue ink

I hope you like this it was very simple and a great way to use those small pieces of ribbon that would otherwise get thrown out,

I have made this card for my father in law who loves old cars, thought it would be perfect and it was really easy lol,

I will enter it into the following 2 challenges;

Well i have been so busy this last few weeks as my MIL is in hospital so havent had much time for blogging, but last night i made this card for the following challenges

twycross

Well last week end we spent a lovely day at twycross zoo, we had a picnic anyone of you who no me no that our time as a family is limited due to the fact my hubby is only at home weekends, so even though the top piccie is not planned it is one i love the bottom one i had to force hubby to do lol,

here are all of my boys (hubby will kill me if he sees this he hates his photo being taken lol)

Here is a card for the following two challenges i hope its ok?

1. charisma - monochoromatic
2. totally gorjuss - texture

hope its ok? this was a really simple make and thought it would make a nice get well or thanks?

To make this all i used were:

• cuttlebug embossing folder not sure which sorry
• martha stewart butterfly punch
• white grossgrain ribbon from stamping up
• yellow dotty ribbon from lous creative craft world
• gold/yellow gems
• punched out daisym woodware punches
• yellow papermania buttons

over at creative craft challenges our new challenge is called shake it baby, the idea is to make a shaker card with the added challenge of making a baby themed shaker card,

i actually find it really hard to make these and still not happy with the outcome but think its just about passable lol.

I made this card for a friend of mines birthday next months (well actually this month now lol) she likes purple so thought this would fit the bill.
