My woyww week 141

hello woyww'ers im a bit late posting today, as i havent been on here for a few weeks or so i thought i better show my face lol, if any of you have popped by my blog on my last woyww you may remember the chaos and carnage that was my area lol, well its still chaos, but slightly tidier lol

Im working on some mothers day cards at the moment with that being our next card makers holiday lol.

I thought id share my slow growing stamping up stamps area lol, i just love this stuff !!!

Under here last time was the worst affected area for mess lol, i think it looks much better now, that purple tote holds all my flowers and underneath it is all my 12x12's

I have taken my spice rack down....it was fabulous but hubby bought me a newer set of really useful boxes to store things so all the buttons from the rack have gone in the boxes and i love it!!!

Hello my lovely blogging friends and followers, hope you all had a nice day yesterday?

my hubby dan was at work the whole day and didnt get home till 8pm, so we shared a bottle of white and watched the tv together, he surprised me too which shocked me, he bought me a craft light box AND the most gorgeous pendant a sterling silver with a beautiful teal green modern style love heart, and i absolutely lolve it!!!!!

Anyways i have a bit of crafty stuff to share with you... i started to make this storage box a while back but hadnt finished it, so today i put the finishing touches to it and here it is!!!

I hope you like it?

i used the dovecraft basics1 papers, white grossgrain ribbon a die cut butterfly, and on the other sides there are stamping up flowers,

Of course i used my bind it all to make this.

I wandered for ages what to use it for, but as ive bought more sakura pens and they were bursting out of my pencil case i thought id try them .....and they fit perfectly

Its friday!!!!!!! and the start if the kiddies school holidays!!!!!! so that means craziness and all sorts of chaos, but also a more relaxing morning rather than my usual rush lol,

I have had loads on of late much same as everyone else i expect but crikey me lol

I have managed to make a few valentines cards though for a couple of orders, so im showing you one here which was made for my cousin to give her fella, she wanted soppy lol

twice the cuddles

Good morning folks, its been a couple of days since i last posted as its been my birthday so havent had time to craft or share any craft with you im afraid, i got tons of cards from my fab trimmie friends,

Any way here is a card i have been working on for a commision...The lady who ordered it wanted unisex as the parents didnt know the sex of thier babies yet,

So here it is using a brand new lily of the valley stamp, i bought it as it was divine and soooo cute, but got home to think when shall i get to use it lol, so as soon as i knew i had a 'twins' card to make i was delighted lol,

I kept the colours to pale yellows and greens with gold finishings as that seemed to work together,with ivory lace and ribbon, the papers are from the pampered pets range, i dont often do pets themed stuff but those papers were scrummy,

What do you think? i think the names are too big but she wanted them on and my lappy not printing very well so had to use peel offs instead and that was the smallest i could make them,

its one of my fave images from jennis amazing digi creations i use her all the time, and she is only 99p can you believe it,

the papers i receved in a swap along with the wire heart,

I doubled up the white and pink satin ribbon and layered it over the doily punched border from martha stewart, then those teeny weeny heart brads where from making memories,

Here is the full view of my Dt card, i hope you like it? i actually felt rather pleased with this one :-o which is rare lol, i layered up lots of different flowers as well,of course the use of my PM's was essential lol

Good morning everyone, i thought i had scheduled this post so i relaxed this morning with a cuppa and a friend having a chat, it wasnt till i came on to see my post to notice it hadnt published...grrrrrr.

Anyway ive finally got it on now so you can have a nosey.

Hello guys, isnt it cold today? we are off to a family indoor play centre shortly as a treat to alex who is 6 as he came home with the star pupil certificate friday,

Although ive still got a dicky tummy so hope i will be ok? hubby wont take them on his own so if i dont go alex wont get his treat!!!! MEN

Anyway here is my latest offering for you, using a topper that was sent tpo me in a swap so not sure of where it came from??

Its a fairly simple design and i have left half my card blank showing which for me is rare!!!!

The bottom half is using textured dovecraft card stock which i have distressed a little, underneath that ribbon is holographic card punched with my eksuccess zig zag punch, and ive added some glosst accents onto the goggles and number plate, (you cant see it too well though)

A star was born

Good morning everyone, ive been a little busy lately so havent posted a card made that wasnt for one of my DT duties in a while lol, also ive been feeling under the weather and still am a little bit !!

mt little boys have got a party to go to tomorrow, my best friends little lad is 6 and the boys have known each other since birth, the following card is made for him, he likes purple so thats where i started.

I put platinum stickles around the edges as i think it goes fab on masculine cards,as its a bit darker than silver, and those amazing star embellies i got from a friend so no clue where to get some more when they all gone as well :-(

I used my newer nesties and cuttlebug embossing folder on this one but used paper scraps big enough out my scrap box, as anyone who knows me knows i cant throw anything away lol i like to recycle everything,

DDCC # 148 A sketch

Good morning guys, how is everyone this morning? its not as cold here today as it has been, whats it like your way???

Ive had a rubbish headache for 2 days now so im a bit tetchy lol so this wont be a massive post.

Its time for a new challenge over at Dutch dare and kelly has this fab sketch for you...... its brill to work with.

We have the Stamping boutique joining us as our sponsor for this challenge and the dt have used TSB images, you will see mine in a min, i chose to work with KK winter and she is just too cute lol

here is my take on the sketch with kk winter, i used soft pinks and blues on my project with a slight hint of ivory pearlised card, organza ribbon which i took of a box of chocs lol,

I used my embossing folder for tha square at the back though you cant see much of it!!

Then i popped stickles all over the place as i do lol, and some lovely gems from meiflowers, my newish nestied which i just absolutely love.

No folks im not whinging i promise lol.....our new theme over at creative craft challenges is the colour blue lol,

Ive had that folied paper for about 2 years and found it out the other day and just knew i needed to use it up !!!

I ruffled up some large white satin ribbon so it wasnt all blue, and used my fave martha stewart doily punch

we have used digital images from hope jacare too, i chose this fabulous drum kit!!! isnt it super cool? i love how you could colour it in and add lots of sparkle or leave it plainer (like i have) and it would still look awesome

My card has been distressed by tearing up all my card stock and designer paper, matted and layered with silver pearlised paper and ive ruffled up the lovely saddle stitch grey/white ribbon that i got from meiflower for xmas

To add a little colour to my black/grey/silver creation i used my blue gloss sakura pen, to colour round the sentiment tag stamp form whimsy stamps, and white sakura pen for faux stitching, then off course to finish of my card those fab massive silver star embellies.

I have managed to make a DT card this aft when kyle was in bed thankfully as he woke early so had to abandon any efforts of craft lol, thanksfully i have been busy colouring in some other images for some DT cards yet to make.... most of these piccies are for my dt work but you will have to pop by and see them on a card lol

Crikey isnt it windy again!!!

I went out this morning for a walk to the post office to get my milk and bread as i was gasping for a cuppa lol an it nearly blew me to scotland lol oh an being as i live in derbyshire thats quite a way lol, and on the walk back it chucked it down lol, thanksfully kyle was in his pram covered nice and snug, but me by the time we got back i was like a drowned rat lol

So now ive had my first cuppa and onto my second i feel able to share this card with you lol

its another of my lily of the valley stamps......these are coming my top choice at the moment as they are all soooo cute and decent prices too, i have a thing for the boys ones and my fave at the mo is this little fella....he just reminds me of my little lad lol

I left the rest of the card quite plain as i wanted the image to be the first thing you look at and of course little lads dont care for all the fuss do they lol

the one style of DP is from stampin up and the sentiment i think is from lotv too, my lovely friend tracy gave me it, added a bit of card candy and some faux stitching then thats it.

here is the entire pic of the card, i have made it for a good friend of mines little boy who will be 5 next week. an he a typical mucky little fella so thought he would like this?

Woyww #136 beware utter chaos

Happy wednesday everyone...its been a long time since i joined in at WOYWW so thought id drop by and share with you the chaos that is my work area lol....beware it truly is a complete mess !!!!!!

I have quite a few piccies to share with you lol so grab a cuppa!!!

here are my new stamps that have recently arrived they are from papermakeup in the states and they are having a massive sale die to stopping doing rubber stamps and going all digital....you may want to have a nosey HERE they have a fab array of gorgeous sentiments and word art as well

Here is my top shelf area lol all my best stash goes up there away from prying eyes lol or in my case a 6 and 2 year old, the black unit is a cd rack the wrong way round lol and that in the distande is a spice rack with ym yummy buttons in!!

can you see all my lovely stampin up supplies? my stamps and punches are thier too

A vision of utter disarray here papers flung all over the place lol yesterday was a chaotic session lol

here is a piccie of my ribbon box and my 6x6 and mixed papers oooh and a sneek peek at my martha stewarts

Also i thought id share the love to my die cutting stuff, i love my cuttlebug and have had it for couple or 3 years now but until recently didnt use it often as it was a faff to get it out, but ive rearranged and popped it right by my desk, can you see that bit of green in the corner lol....there she is, also can you see my evergrowing nestie collection? and my beloved sakura pens i love those and do all my faux stitching with them,

Crikey can you see what i have to work with lol here is where i keep all my envelopes and card blanks in the grey drawers and the colourful ones at the back keep safe my a4 card stock

Last but not least.............are ya still with me lol????? this litlle lot is under my desk where my feet are supposed to go lol, who cares about feet i need more space lol, all my stickles/inks etc etc gors into them drawers and all those 15 storage boxes have stamps in them, also i keep stamps on the shelves and in the big drawers as well, i have millions and millions lol im a lover of the greeting farm/lily of the valley/magnolias and pretty much any really

Oooooh i hope i havent bored you silly with those pics, im afraid im not lucky enough to have a room of my own i gave that up for my youngest son lol....well he couldnt stay sleeping in a moses basket all his life lol, i will get a room of my own eventually but will be few years as we will have an extension and then i get a proper room lol but for now i am happy in our bedroom as i have i nice big corner of our room lol.

Good morning everyone

I havent got a card to show you so thought id share a couple pics with you that ive taken recently of my lovely family, i got a new camera for christmas and have been taking it everywhere with me as anyone who knows me knows i love taking photographs and having all those lovely memories in print all around my house..
Anyway here they are i do hope you take a few mins to have a look at my gorgeous family lol

My eldest alex at his 6th birthday party, it went extremely well with 24 of his friends they all had a blast, thanks god to indoor play centres lol,

Here i am looking a bit not so good lol it was really windy an cold and not a stitch of lippy on lol, again on charles hill as alex got a water rocket set for his birthday so we went for a play

And look here, both my boys together havin a cuddle.....awwwwwwww, they are a pair of monsters alot these days and fight like cat and dog, but they love each other millions lol

Here daddy is setting up the rocket launcher, which is basically a pop bottle filled with water then you pump air into it and watch it fly....and boy does it fly....i think the highest we got that day was about 30 metres

Here again is me lol with one of my bestest buds claire and an fabulous friend of mine dawn at new years eve, a fab night with fab friends and family,

This ones a bit of a morning after the night before pic lol but my alex wanted us to have a picture, its not a good one this one but i dont mind lol

And last but no means least my boys getting ready to tackle new years eve lol

A batch of thankyou mini cards

It was my little lads 6th party on tuesday some of you may remember my post about it...well of course with a party goes thank you notes, this is the majority of them i still have a few to do but they of course will be the same as these, pink for the girls and blue for the boys, they are about the size of an atc but cards,

I think the stamps are from inkadinkadoo in a set i have had for sooooo long and havent used much, well the sentiment an stamp of course fit perfectly for a bunch (no pun intended lol)of 5 and 6 year olds, even though they little these took me about 4 hours to put together, then my alex wrote inside and on the envelopes bless him.

DDCC #146 - new beginnings

Good morning thursday...crikey isnt it windy again today, and last night i thought our carport roof was flying off it was that bad, although we should be thankful that it doesnt get as bad as it can in some places shouldnt we, i always try to tell myself that things can always be worse.

Anyway we have a new challenge over at Dutch dare and as its a first for 2012 we have a theme of....

NEW BEGINNINGS

so new baby/new school/weddings/engagements the list can go on.....

We are being sponsored by Crafty sentiments for this challenge which some of the girls have used thier images, me however im afraid i havent this time as id completed my card in advance and hadnt time to make another using their fabby images, pop over and take a look they really are great..

Im sure you can tell what theme i chose for new beginnings lol....A new life together as man and wife, i used a lily of the valley topper as time has been of essence for me lately,

the backing card is from kanban and the flowers are prima paper flowers with meiflower gems in the middle, the card candy is new i got it for xmas along with some other new crafty bits, as i didnt want a plain sentiment stuck on i hand wrote it and then cut it up, i hope it looks ok? my writing isnt fancy lol, to finish i used my sakuras for some faux stitching and some purple pearly card.

I think whatever style your into you gotta love lily of the valley i have millions of thier stamps but had to get these toppers as i struggle with wedding images and never seem to colour them in to a satisfactory level.

OMG - look what i won

I am soooo excited to tell you i won this mahooosive selection of rubber backed stamps from unity stamps, i won the friends with flair which basically is that they pick a winner from comments made within a certain time frame, i didnt even know they were doing it lol so imagine my surprise when i got a comment on my blog telling me i had won, and until the prize came i hadnt a clue what it would be....

Good evening peeps, it has been a very very windy day today hasnt it!!! its nearly blew my car port roof off lol, we have had my 6 year olds birthday party today it was choatic...just imagine 24 kids running riot lol, thank god for indoor play centres party packages thats all i can say, my little lad had the time of his life and was sooo excited to open even more presents lol.

Anyway i have made a easel card for a friends son who turned 13, he feels he is now a grown up so it was a big deal for him to finally be a teenager, he loves sports cars and the colour blue, so this seemed the most perfect card to make.

Hi folks i thought id share a few pics with you....

This first one is after we had tidies up the presents....yep that is what tidy looked like on christmas afternoon lol and there is mama trying to help bless her lol

here is hubby in his santa hat, we wore one all morning till 4pm into the afternoon, doesnt he look dashing lol

Here is my massive table for christmas dinner, i had to get in an extra table as i had 12 to cook for lol, we had a three bird and a large lamb roast with all the trimmings, as you can see my colour theme was burgundy/gold and cream.

We said we didnt want any more tracks for the boys or large items as we literally dont have the space, and we bought our alex a hot wheels wall track, but look who didnt listen....

its flippin massive, where on earth are we putting that i dont know.

It was completely bonkers all day long, and the last of our guests went by 7pm, then me an hubby could relax, although i had to be up at 4,30 boxing day morning for the next sale so not much sleep.

Good evening peeps, i know its late but its been a very very busy day here in the house of tomo,

i have had all the fam here for the day, so it has been chaotic !!!!!!

Well my boys have had a super duper day up to thier eyes in wrapping and lots of pressies, this is the first year both my boys have been excited as out youngest kyle is 3 in march, last year he needed a lot of help to unwrap his gifts but this year he opened his quicker than our eldest alex who will be 6 on new years day lol

I myself have had an amazing day, i got spoilt rotten and my fab hubby bought me some beautiful white gold diamond earrings !!!!!!!! they made me cry cos they were perfect,

anyway i hope you have all had an amazing day today and you have gotten all you wished for?

No piccies from me as of course its christmas and i have been far to busy lol

Good mornin folks, how is everyone doing then? you all ready for christmas!!!!! or is that still the taboo word lol

Ive been really busy in the evenings as ive had quite alot of orders for cards and jewellery, its kept me going as ive been and still am unwell,

This card was made for my brother who was 15, he is the ultimate skater boy lol he spends his life at the skate park with his board or bike, so this some odd girl digi "skater kodi" was perfect for the job in hand,

Over at Dutch dare we have another challenge up and running for you just in case you have all your pressies bought and wrapped and are prepared for the big day, you will have something to do if you play along with us lol,

We are sponsored by Di' digi's, they have some amazing digi images over there, you ought to pop over and take a peek, unfortunately i havent showcased one of them this time as my printer is still out of ink!!! i know its been out of ink for ages but with all my pennies going on other things i havent gotten round to buying more.

So anyway i had a 50th birthday card to make but the recipient isnt in to girly stuff or flowers etc etc so i opted for something really plain but obvious, the banner is made using my petite banner su punch, and ive stickled everything lol the card is actually a golden shimmer but you cant really tell and the blue card stock is also a shimmer pearl card so this does look better in real life than in the photo. the 50 is hand cut form a stencil and the today is peel offs

He he he...now before you all think ive gone nuts my little lad was in his school christmas play "starlight" an yep ya guessed it he was a donkey lol, and if im honest he didnt like it he said people laughed at him cos he had a fat donkey costume on, Now maybe im biased (hell yeah i am) but i think he made the cutest best donkey EVER,

Good morning folks, "RANT ALERT"..........................................what a week ive been having, my boiler is broke!!!! yep in this freezing weather with 2 young kids, and im waiting for my replacement part, its been broken since monday so i have no heating or hot water!! its awfully cold in our house, thankfully my eldest is at school all day and my youngest is wearing extra layers same as me and he doesnt seem bothered by it, and to top it off ive now come down with a cold so feel wretched.......

Cards for men Challenge and blog hop - lots of prizes

Another year has whizzed by. Cards for Men has now been running for two years and to celebrate we have a bloghop running as well as our usual challenge. The theme for our challenge is the number '2'. Interpret it how you will, two cards, two images, pairs, twinsets (card & gift), etc. We'll draw a random winner and top 3 as usual. I chose to make a card with matching tag, which came in real handy as it was one of my sons friends birthday party the other day, i left the design minimal and used mainly pearlised card stock and my sakura to give some faux stitching

craftwork cards christmas card

I ordered 3 craftwork cards goody bags the other day when they were on special offer, this is one of them, i like the fact that there is non traditional christmas colours in there, i thought these yellows were lovely, so i paired them up with golds and this is what happened! Around the die cut snowflake and sentiment i put the gold stickles to give it some sparkle
that cute little snowman is a die cut from elsewhere but for the life of me i cannot remember where lol, i cut the circle out with my stampin up circle punch and job done lol

here s something simple and pretty

Here is a christmas card i made as im soooooo behind on them i needed some simple ones, this was made using an embossing folder and adhesive pearls, so simple yet fairly effective i think?? Looking at it when id finished io dont think the sentiment looks any good on it but couldnt take off without ruining the pearly card stock, so left it on,

i used red card stock on a 7x5 blank and thats ya lot a real easy design,

It made me realise how behind i am when i met for coffe with a crafty bud of mine tracy, so ended up sneaking to m&s to get some shop xmas cards :-0 i know a CARDinal sin lol but what can ya do, ive just not got enough time in the day to make enough,

Here is a christening card i have made for someone, they wanted a easel card with lots of pink and a charm, this is what i came up with, i used a lovely ickle maggie stamp isnt she super cute, and the sentiment stamp is a papermakup stamp, i used one of my best bargain buys from the nec as well lol, that deep edge martha punch was only £9 I put stickles on her wings in 2 layers so they are especially glittery, and of course used my promarkers on her

I bought this fab young lady as i just loved her as soon as i saw her, isnt she soo cool lol.

I was desperate to make something but only had limited crafty time availlable so the card isnt overly embellished i left it fairly simple but actually quite like it like this?!?! what do you think??

I used my rockstar dcwv matt stack...god i love that one. and my new star puch i got from the nec for £1 of course i used my promarkers!! i mean is there anything else to use lol? not in my house i cant get on with anything else, i popped some thin black satin ribbon on with a star charm and thats ya lot....ooh except for the fab platinum stickles of course.

Good morning thursday everyone,

We had an amazing turn out for our last die cuts and punches challenge at Dutch Dare last week, although there were quite a few not checking out our rules :-s we have a rule of a max of 8 combined challenges and some folks didnt seem to even have a punch or die on there project, we have to make things fair on everyone entering so if you could have a peek at the rules pretty please lol,

Anyway enough whinging from me, we are onto another amazing challenge now for you and we are looking for

ALL WHITE

so everything needs to be white with the only exception of a little splash of colour on your digi's/stamps.

christmas voucher wallets

Good evening folks,

I was asked by a vie rep friend if i could make a couple of samples for her to put her vie vouchers in for christmas presents, well id never made any before but thought why not give it a go!!

i made 3 for her, and used my stampin up elastic as the fasteners on 2 of them and ribbon on the third.

She chose the colour schemes but wasnt fussed re the design,

she took them to one of the district meetings with her bosses and they liked them, im told to expect more orders lol YAY

I thought that i would show them to you, What do you think?

My Nec goodies and a card

Yesterday i went to the nec with a crafty friend of mine angela, she hasnt got a blog or anything but has a fabulous crafty space and jumped at the chance to come along when i told her i was going to the nec, as usual i had an amazing time, i bought loads as id saved alot of pennies up from sales of my cards etc, but even with this fab lot i came home with £65 still lol, dont tell hubby im saving it lol
Here is a close up of my fave bits, isnt it just gorgeous?what a sight dont ya think, i love it lol, i came across a embossing folder that has happy birthday written all over it in small text and it was only £2.99 so i had to get that too, the deep edge martha stewart punch was only £9 and the other one £10.99, plus one of those nesties were a mere £10, of course i had to visit lily of the valley...they are fast becomming one of my most faves along with my maggies/gorjuss girls and greeting farm stamps, We walked s0 much my feet were killing me, and during the day i met up with rozzy and maxine from trimmie which was lovely, we had a chat but it was sooo busy we couldnt for too long :-(
Any way i guess you dont want all the inns and outs do you lol,
so here is a card ive made with a new kanban stamp set i bought,isnt he fabulous, the papers are dovecraft basics and i used a dark purple for the matting and layering, lots of silver stickles to give some bling, and used the matching kanban sentiments and thats it, no embellies at all, i didnt think it actually needed it??? what do you think?

Ive just found out that i have been chosen to join CARDS FOR MEN on thier design team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how fab is that, im soooo honoured i cant tell you,

cards for men is a challenge blog that ive always like to follow and did enter as often as i could, now i get to design for them!

such an honour, i find being on dt's helps me with mojo issues as well, and i love the challenge,

You will have to wait to see my first creation for them which will be the next challenge that goes live next week,

Well folks Im late again!!!! am i gonna get a slapped wrist or what lol, life this week had been chaotic, for the most part because of the kids being off school, but ive also felt under the weather as well, not done much crafting except my commisioned orders, this card i luckily made in advance a while back, but yep even though i was organised with the card i forgot to schedule AGAIN lol

Anyway shut up rambling sandra lol, the new challenge over at cardmadfairy's digi days is..

of course i had to use this darling digi it sooo reminds me of childhood memories you know back in the day when you could play in the street, and i was in a grey mood lol and think that the digi is gorgeous with or without colour so left it alone, dont you think its great? and all for the lowly price of 99p

So here is my card

I used some super old stash on this along with my newest stuff, the papers are from the dovecraft charcoal range which i must had had 3 years lol, the flowers and the lovely chunky lace is my new stuff, oh and the martha stewart punch is new too,
Ive gone glitter crazy on this card too as you can see lol, i thought with it being mono in colour it needed a bit of shine, and anyone who pops by my blog regular will know im a sticklesaholic lol,

I am so behind at the moment with some of my dt cards, with the kids being off school, and i have a cold as well, so this card isnt quite as id have liked it but i wanted to contribute to the theme this week at dutch dare,

we are going for PEARLS AND SWIRLS i have plenty of pearls and the swirls are in the card pattern, its a simplistic style using a fancy blank, We are being sponsored by the fabby stampin boutique, whom offered the dt some of thier digi's but ive struggled for time and my printer still isnt quite upto scratch!!! i really must get it looked at lol or rather get hubby to have a look when he gets in from work

Anyway onto my offering for this morning, a friend of mine has been unwell recently and i wanted to make them a card and thought id dust oif this beautiful greeting farm stamp, isnt she lovely, i bought the flowers and the corrugated card from vicky aka blue jelly when i went to meet her and its come in very handy,

On sunday i went to meet vicky aka blue jelly as she was having a sale of her old unused stuff and her stamping up stuff, well it would have been rude not too lol, i stayed for about 4 hours chatting and of course spending lots of my money(or should i say dans)

It was fab and vicky was just as i imagined her to be

I bought lots and lots as you can see, it was like going to the nec lol, although ill be going there too as im still saving up,Can you spot my stampin up stamps lol that makes about 12 sets i own now, lots of matt stacks and sentiments, chipboards,ribbons etc etc,
It was lovely to meet vicky as im nervous meeting new people and especially since i went on my own lol, i do hope to see her again at her future crops and classes,
Besides this whole lot of stuff ive bought 2 other second hand stampin up sets and some charms, along with a maggi and cc design stamp of ebay, and am awaiting my stamping up club order !!!!!!!
think i must of spent a small fortune of hubby's money lately, but you know what they say....

This kenny k digi is fab i just love it, so when i was asked to make a card for a son who loved a pint i just knew he was the one, now there where a few challenges floating about for clean and simple so thats what ive done, The grossgrain ribbon is 1.5 cm wide and fantastic on mens cards, ive used platinum stickles around the image. and the papers where gifted me from one of my trimmie friends as i dont have much mens papers, of course my promarkers got an airing as they do on most cards lol, i know im still not great with my colouring but im learning, some images i colour look pretty good and others not so.

Ive been asked to start making my xmas cards as a few of my mums friends want to buy from me, as time is of the essence when you have 2 small children i made a few simple ones, and this is one of them, i believe the digi is a crafty pad one, i enlaged it to make it the main image rather than small, I used icycle stickels and glossy accents for the snow, and promarkers on the snowmen, popped on some organza and a gem brad and bobs your uncle (well not mine but he must be somebodies)

The sentiment is a stampin up one,
Im entering this card into 5 challenges

Well good afternoon folks, i hope your day so far has been a good one? ive made dinner and chilling for a bit why hubby is getting stressed with ales trying to sort the toybox out lol, he wants to get rid of some of them except alex isnt really into it lol, im leaving them to it for a bit as it wasnt my idea lol

Here is a cupcake card made with my dovecraft papers and decoupage set, i have actually made a few cards with this set as i think theyre sooo pretty, ive added star dust stickles to the edges and on the cake then glossy accents on top of the cake as well, the grossgrain ribbon was cut from a gift packed teddy i got, its 1.5 cm wide, then used a craftwork cards sentiment.H

As some of you may know we have almost finished our garden at the back, we have now completed the large decking area, and to celebrate we had a pretty big party, It started as it always does, folks outside having a chat listening to some music and the kiddies playing

Here is one of my best friends claire with her fella andy, (my other best friend claire and her hubby andy didnt make it,yep ive 2 friends with same name and hubbys same name boy does that get confusin lol)

Our lovely jenny from cardmadfairy creations and host of digi days has been a busy little bee, she has designed a set based on the lovely imogen here which was the first in the set, and also watch this space for some new christmas images. here is a close up of the lovely flowers, but the colours look soooo different in close up dont they?
I used the dovecraft tea house papers, the ticket stamp is from whimsy stamps and of course you can get imogen HERE at a very very affordable price of 99p and she is fab to colour in.

good evening fellow blogger and good friends, i have made a few quickies today and here is one of them, i used the dcwv butterflies and blossoms card stack, along with a fabuluos stamp ive had a while but cant for the life of me remember where i got him from, the sentiment is from stitchu i believe,

just to give a little bit extra detail ive used my white sakura pen to add some stitching, and some blue ribbon i cut from a top lolChallenges for this one

Creative craft challenges has another great theme for you, and we are looking for buttons and bling, we have some great sponsors as always for you lucky folks,

My card isnt using one of thier images though im afraid as ive been very busy, but my wonderful DT have used a mixture of there images so please pop over and have a nosey I have used a inkylicious stamp for mine and some lovely white heart shaped buttons,

im loving my martha stewart doily lace punch, i know its been out a while now but ive only had it a couple months and lurve it so much

For my bling i have used silver elasticated thread from my ever expanding stampin up stash

and lots of sakura glitter pens and stickles, to finish i added some lilac satin ribbon and faux stitchin, very simple and quick as like i said ive not had much time,

Ribbon get well card for a guy !!!!

I was asked to make a card for a mad forest fan who is ill, i dont really have much footy stuff in my stash and that what i do have isnt the right colours so i thought id use this lovely lotv stamp and colour it in!!! the papers are forever friends for him, and then ive looped lots of ribbon to give a bit of something different, I really love the look of the ribbon when i do it like this!! i hand written the sentiment as my computer ran out of ink lol, i didnt want to put get well soon as he is very ill and not sure he will, but i was asked by a close friend to make one so put "feel better soon" i do hope it seemed appropriate,
As it turned out they really liked it!!!
which i am glad on such circumstances i never know what to make,

Ive just hit 21000 hits on my blog how great is that, I cant believe that many people have had a look at my blog, when i first started the whole computer blog stuff was completely foreign to me but over the past 2 years or so ive learned so much, from looking at other peoples blogs and self taught, ive loved every minute of it,

So as a way of sayong thanks to everyone for your support im going to be havin a blog candy soon, i have got a few nice bits so far, and im just waiting for some new bits to be delivered to add to it,

My new lotv stamp - isnt she cute

I got this little beauty the other month from a craft fayre and i just had to get her mounted, she is just too cute lol, this is the first card ive made using her, i have quite the collection of lily of the valley stamps now that ive had to get them there own storage box lolI didnt want to put any papers on there as i thought she looked pretty enough on her own, I used my martha stewart double scallop punch as i love this one, and then various brands of flowers, prima etc, and the ribbon ive had in my stash for quite some time, i glittered up the brads for some extra bling and then wrote up a sentiment of my laptop, as per usual i got out my promarkers to colour her in, and finished her off with some glossy accents.
